Decent vegan meal - Edit
Food was good, menu seemed really small though. Not that many mains to choose from. Didnt get a chace to try dessert. Was nice to find a healthy vegan option!

You must get the pancakes! - Edit
Seriously, you must order these pancakes! They are different from American pancakes - more like a mix of pancakes and biscuits - and more of a dessert than a meal. We ordered two lunch meals - the green and red curries - and the pancakes for dessert. The curries were pretty good, though the green curry portion wasn't too filling. We arrived 10 min before they opened, and a line had already formed out front. You should expect a wait. Overall, would definitely recommend. One of the better meals we had in Tokyo.

Good - Edit
Not the best but good for a vegan meal. Prices are high but maybe it’s because we went for dinner. The food was good but maybe a bit pretentious. Let me explain: looks and sounds fancy but it’s a bit superficial, I’ve tried better, more homemade, more affordable meals in Japan. Still good for a vegan meal in the city. I tried the 3200 yen course and I enjoyed trying many different things but still think it’s overpriced. My partner had the paella L size and it was still small ration and mostly rice and not much else. However, the restaurant is cute and romantic at night, good aesthetics. Would like to try lunch there.

Tasty & fresh - Edit
We ordered a tasting platter which included a little bit of several dishes (salad, soup, tortilla, herb tea and dessert), a rice & mushroom dish, waffles and a mint tea. Came to 6800 Yen (about £50) which is a little steep for lunch but the staff were lovely and food was delicious

Great food - Edit
We ended up eating here twice because it was the closest vegan place to our hotel. Had some tasty dishes - the mushroom dish was very tasty and the desserts were awesome. However this place was expensive! We have now been traveling around Japan for 10 day and this place has been the priciest so far. Some dishes were worth the money but many were not. Atmosphere was nice and there were good touches like fruit infused water and vegan desserts to buy and take away.

Best vegan pancakes! - Edit
The most amazing pancakes I've had since going vegan. Definitely worth the price tag. The mushroom curry is also quite good too! They have some great little takeaway items such as a traditional Japanese style pudding. Super tasty!

Good taste, good service! - Edit
That’s is an awesome meal. There are kinds of foods in the menu, every dish is delicate and all have cudgeled cook’s mind and the waiter’s service is also friendly. If I’ll visit Tokyo in the future I will go there again.

Shinjuku Vegan Eatery - Edit
Trendy and simple vegan food in Tokyo. The lunch menu was uncomplicated, but everything had by my party was delicious. I had the salad which had a fabulous dressing and came with veg meat and rice sides. The wine and beer options were also very good.

Rough Round the Edges Western Fine Dining - Edit
Interior design in this restaurant is spot on with painted concrete walls, plants and hanging lights. The menu is varied and good, but nothing special for a vegan restaurant. Perhaps this is the kind of place you might take somebody on a date. Everything comes across as healthy and organic, with vegan junk food lacking. Drinks were good - finally a properly poured beer without the giant foamy head so common to Japan!

Cons: Has been inexplicably closed the last two times I , Food perhaps a little to obviously vegan / healthy, Too western, you’re in Tokyo - go eat Japanese cui

Worth paying a visit. - Edit
Really enjoyed the meal, had a starter, omelette, a main meal of mixed veggies and rice and based on previous reviews, the pancakes.
Read moreAll very tasty and filling.....I was a bit worried I might leave still feeling peckish, hence ordering the omelette, but left feeling very satisfied.
People have mentioned the price in reviews, personally for 4000 yen I thought it good value....the pancakes where of a generous size.
However, it leads to the question, which is the better.....Journey's pancakes or Ripples' French toast?
Decisions decisions.......which one would make me go back?
I'd have to plum for....... Ripples' French toast....but I wouldn't complain either way, although Journey's main dishes are cleaner.
Pros: Fully vegan...on the whole clean and healthy.
Cons: None.

Great service, nice food. - Edit
Initially went here just before midday, but were told they were full so had to come back at 2. At 2pm, it was practically empty, so not sure why we couldn't eat earlier. However, the service was good and food was tasty, although it was quite basic.

Beautiful atmosphere - Edit
We loved the atmosphere of this restaurant and the safety of being able to order anything off the menu and knowing it would be vegetarian! (Hard to find experience in Tokyo where fish is in everything, even desserts)

Loved our meal here - Edit
We went to this restaurant on our first night in Tokyo, it was within an easy walk of where we were staying and relatively easy to find. We really enjoyed everything we ordered, the food was full of flavour and presented beautifully. We especially loved the vegan creme brulee - I desperately wanted to go back for more the next night but we were in a different part of town.

Best meal we had in Tokyo - Edit
So good we came back for a second time. The sets are a great way to try a bunch of stuff. The pancakes are a MUST try! Best pancakes I have ever had. Also loved the pudding, tiramisu and cookies that they sell as well (good for snacks on a Shinkansen!). Highly highly recommend.

Lovely Atmosphere & Staff - Edit
I came in here to inquire about take-away meal options for going to the airport, and although they don't offer any meals for take-away, the staff were exceptionally kind and helped me look up options at the airport online. The atmosphere inside was very pleasant and I'll go back for sure next time I'm in Tokyo. I bought some biscotti, which was really good, and a Christmas stolen bread for my family also.

An adorable place with delicious food! It was my first day in Tokyo and I was a bit nervous about how eating would be but this place exceeded my expectations! I had tomato soup with brown rice and salad, pancakes and tiramisu pudding, all of which were completely delicious!!! Amazing service and place, I definitely plan on coming back at least once in my stay!

Delightful - Edit
We went for lunch two times because we just love the pancakes (1500yen) so much. I had visited 1.5 years ago and was equally blown away by how GOOD they were. My fiance tried the matcha pancakes (1800yen) and enjoyed them a lot. We also shared a side of fried soy chicken (700yen) and thought it was really delicious but it was a rather small serving.
