Cool spot with good food - Edit
Friendly staff with good food and drinks. The bagged drinks are nice and the appetizers are really good. As others have said it isn’t fully vegan for some of the popcorn seasonings so watch out for that, but they had cards you could point at to indicate.

Decent spot but smells of cigarettes - Edit
Loved the food, would highly reccomend! My only issue was the smell of the restaurant, it was a pretty strong cigarette smell (which I know is a thing in Japan but still) otherwise would say head here!

Amazing experience - not fully vegan - Edit
Eating here was an amazing experience. We really loved the cyberpunk concept (especially the toilet hehe). The food was also very, very good and unique.
Read moreI also liked that in exchange for your seating charge you get free popcorn while waiting. But here comes the problem and the reason I only gave 4 stars:
For the popcorn you can choose between vegan and vegetarian. The vegetarian popcorn (probably with butter) comes with a lot of spices which are also not all vegan. The waiter even pointed out one spice that wasn't even vegetarian (I think it had chicken broth in it) - but at least he pointed it out. Still so unnecessary.
All in all the menu is still fully vegan but the restaurant itself sadly is not.

Fantastic surprise in Tokyo. - Edit
After a couple days, struggling to find vegan food, I came across this restaurant and loved it. I have you recommend! A little tricky to find, but if you take the elevator up to the fourth floor, we’ll find a lovely little restaurant.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that the aroma of our ramen caused you such an unpleasant experience.
Read moreAt our shop, we prepare our soup in large, consistent batches to ensure quality control, so hearing about this "sewage" smell is a shock to us. We have one sincere question: Why was this not reported to our staff on-site? If it was that bad, we would have wanted to investigate the batch and stop service immediately to protect you and other customers.
We are deeply sorry if the atmosphere of our shop made it difficult for you to speak up at the time. We want to make this right. If you can provide your receipt or proof of payment along with the date and time of your visit, we will issue a full refund for your meal. Please contact us directly at [arrrtvt@gmail.com]so we can assist you.

Unique spot with good food - Edit
The place is cyberpunk themed. Very small but not many people seem to know about it so we didn't have to wait for a table.
Read moreThey only do a couple of noodle dishes as well as fried gyozas and karaage. I almost crashed out trying to use chopsticks to eat my noodles but that is my fault and I was too embarrassed to ask for a fork 😂
You also get unlimited popcorn with a choice of flavours!
Pros: Cyberpunk theme, Unlimited popcorn
Cons: Could have had more noodle choices

A small restaurant and bar in Shinjuku with reasonably-priced food and drinks. The lunch menu is small. We had the springs rolls, dumplings, and ramen noodles. They were all so tasty! Also, the service was friendly, helpful and efficient. Looking forward to going back!

The place has the vibe of a dystopian cyberpunk noodle restaurant, and if you're looking for somewhere unique like that, it's definitely worth checking out. All fans of Bladerunner and similar films/video games/books will get a kick out of it.
Read moreThe food is good and the drinks feel gourmet, with options like the homemade cola.
We went for an early lunch, so there was no cover charge, but I think their website said there is one later in the day, so double-check on that.

Cons: Price, Small selection

This place feels quite tucked away but it’s worth finding! They provide unlimited homemade popcorn with a choice of flavours. We ordered ramen with a side of gyoza, along with homemade colas. All delicious. They post their opening times and any updates on instagram everyday, which is super helpful.

Had the tantanmen and the gyozas. Both pretty good. Tantanmen was a little too salty but it was really good, loved the dense broth. The aesthetic is really beautiful specially if you like cyberpunk style. I was lucky to not share the meal with smokers.

Feels Like a Movie Set - Edit
This place's location is awesome and feels like a scene straight out of Blade Runner. One thing to note, this restaurant is labeled "vegan" on HappyCow, but on the menu it has some vegetarian items, so I don't think all items are vegan. Also, the online ordering from the QR code was a little buggy for us, so I would confirm with the staff exactly what you want before placing the order. For us the non-alcoholic beers showed up as regular beers, but they were very nice about swapping it out so it wasn't a problem. Overall, the food was tasty and the vibe is cool, I would definitely add to any visit to Shinjuku.
