Gutes Essen aber sehr teuer - Edit
Es gab am Samstag ein vielseitiges Buffet mit leckeren Speisen. Für den doch hohen Preis hat es für meinen Geschmack zu viel Kantinencharakter. Schade das um 11 Uhr nicht mehr zum Frühstück angeboten wurde. Naja es war gut aber nichts besonderes.

Es ist immer etwas fatal wenn man gerne alles probieren möchte, aber der selbst zusammengestellte Teller dann erst noch gewogen wird, da der Preis nach Gewicht geht. Aber es hat sich gelohnt. Das Essen war sehr fein,eine gute Auswahl an frischen Salaten und auch warmen Buffet, sowie an Kuchen. Bei Allem stehen die Allergene dran und ob vegan oder nicht. Schöner Aussenbereich.

Okay buffet option - Edit
We were here on Tuesday for lunch and it was crowded. On a sunny day it would be nice to enjoy the terrace outside.

Also 2 dishes seemed off, I have a strong nose for this so also indicated staff. They checked it in the kitchen and the chef came to our table, saying it was fresh and we probably smelled the herbs. She let me smell the herbs but that was not the off scent I noticed. Thoughtful that they checked it.
That scent always puts me off a bit. But the food was okay. Quite expensive though to get a full plate.
Would go here again, as I like salads but would smell the dishes first.

Such a delicious selection of vegan salads and hot food with a beautiful garden ambience where we could relax and people watch on a sunny day. The vegan brownies were also lecker! The only con was the price- I paid over 20 euro for a plate of salad for lunch. I thought that was quite expensive.

Everything we tried was too spicy for our taste, it was quite expensive for the quality and quantity. The salad bar/ cold meals has many options but the warm food was not that diversified.

Read moreEs gab eine nette Auswahl, jedoch war vieles bereits leer und auch nicht aufgefüllt worden. Der Preis wird nach €/100g berechnet, was ich grundsätzlich erstmal gut finde. Allerdings war der Preis wirklich schockierend. Vor uns hat eine Frau für ihren normalvollen Teller 20€ bezahlt und für meine normalvolle mittelgroße Schüssel waren das 16€. Bei sattgrün zahle ich für eine große volle Schüssel 12,9€... In Freiburg gibt es keine sattgrün-Filiale, aber mal als Vergleich. Aufgrund des Preises werde ich hier leider nie wieder hingehen und lieber woanders essen. Auch schade, dass es nicht rein vegan ist

Adelhaus is set in a lovely square with lots of shady outdoor seating. The cake I had was yummy, and the lady who served me was very helpful and showed me all of the vegan cake options. However, the edge of the cake was too caramelised for me to bite or cut through.

Read moreYou pay by weight of your plate. It is a little bit expensive but you can really tell that it's all high quality food. Everything I tried tasted fantastic. My favourite was the vegan goulash and the pesto noodle salad.
Great place if you want to treat yourself!
