Okay place to eat salad - Edit
We ate here near closing time so understandably there were fewer options left in the buffet. The warm meal didn't look/sound too delicious so we decided to with the salad buffet. The buffet had a lot of options but many of then were pretty similar with each other. I've had better salads before but it was OK, slightly expensive. There seemed to be only bottled water available but we asked the waiter for tap water and he brought just one glass for two people, weird.

Vegan and Veggie Heaven! - Edit
Ate here 3 times on a recent trip to Freiburg. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. Vegan and veggie salad bee options. Hot vegan and veggie dishes of the day as well as a vegan and veggie burger each day. Vegan desserts and glutenfree cakes. Gorgeous outside eating area in a beautiful square. Modern interior. You can also get food to go.

Unpleasant staff - Edit
Waaaaaay too expensive. And vegan menu isn't special. A lot of salad available but if u fill the plate u can expect to pay a lot. It's much better to go for some falafel place.

Except being very frowning, woman ignores my english and she talks to me on German. I've never had that experience before.

Very nice buffet - Edit
I went there for lunch once and I was pleased with the range of vegan and gluten free options.
Read moreThere is a big salad bar, with a variety of toppings and dressings. There is a much smaller section with hot and organic food- on the day I went there were 2 types of veggies, roasted potatoes and 2 types of veggie patties (1 vegan). Finally, there is a desert section, with mostly mousses and creams- there were 2 or 3 vegan options.
There is also a separate counter with a wider range of cakes, including some vegan ones.
Everything is very clearly labeled, including the list of ingredients used for each dish. It's very convenient if you have any food allergies.
The food was very tasty. The salad bar feels a bit pricey (it's by weight) but the hot and organic food was very reasonable.
There is loads of sitting space- on the square where the restaurant is, indoors and there is also a terrace at the back of the restaurant.
Pros: Many vegan options, Gluten free options
