We shared a a daal, aloo gobi (although there was only two pieces of aloo), rice, samosa and roti. There was plenty of food between two of us, all was very tasty. expensive but Indian meals are a splurge for us so it was a real treat. Friendly service, good & clear English. Small restaraunt but nice seats outside, on busy road.

Lots of vegan options clearly labelled on menu. Delicious chutney boat came with meal. The daal was ok but not that flavoursome. The Chana masala was very good though. Expensive compared with other places but that’s what you get with an Indian!

Probabilmente uno dei ristoranti indiani in cui ho mangiato meglio in vita mia. Ho ordinato un dahl di lenticchie gialle e un masala di verdure arrostite davvero buono. Servono prima del pasto dei chutney da abbinare al loro naan. Le opzioni vegane sono ben segnalate e prevedono, oltre a portate principali raccolte in un unica pagina del menù, anche contorni e antipasti come i samosa. Tantissime le opzioni vegetariane. Il personale parla benissimo l’inglese, probabilmente qualcuna delle opzioni vegetariane è anche veganizzabile chiedendo (c’erano delle polpette di ceci che sembravano la fine del mondo, ma non ho chiesto se si potessero apportare modifiche). Da provare! non mi sarebbe dispiaciuto trovare un’opzione dolce vegana.

I had my classic Indian food order when in restaurants abroad - Channa Massala, Naan and Basmati rice. Everything was quite tasty, although the price is of course higher compared to ordering local food. Friendly staff.

the food we ate here was really good (i had a chana masala and naan) however it lacked a little flavour and i had to ask for lemon juice and some salt. However it was still tasty and the staff were lovely. It is definitely on the pricier side but the portions were big.

We ordered chana masala (as usual) and aloo gobhi. Up there with some of the best Indian food I've eaten anywhere. Fresh, tasty, distinct flavours, and not too oily. With fresh, fluffy vegan naan.

Lots of veg options on the menu and owner is very knowledgeable about dietary restrictions. On the pricier side compared to other places in the area but not unreasonable considering the quality of the food and ambiance of the place. They bring you 6 house made chutneys/pickles complimentary so that was fun to try all of them (except the green chutney has yogurt, heads up - the other 5 are vegan). A solid option if you want a break from thai food.
