Bad service - Edit
The service was non-existent. No hello, no eye contact and not even a tiny smile while we tried our best to make friendly contact. The food was okay, nothing that stood out though.

Nothing life changing - Edit
Not bad but I wouldn’t go back. I ordered the basil chili spaghetti and it was definitely spicy. The tofu in it wasn’t the best. I also got a pink milk with oat milk and that was really good. (The guy did tell me that it wouldn’t taste the same, but it was great). My mom was not impressed with her waffles.

Good mango shake - Edit
Mango shake was nice and refreshing
Read moreOn Google Maps it's said that they close at 6pm, I came in at 5:20 wanting to sit for 10-15mn to wait for my bus. But the person serving me wouldn't let me and was not very welcoming, they made me take it to go. Maybe there were having a bad day or the hours are not correct 🤷🏻♂️

Good food - Edit
I had the spaghetti green curry and it was actually nice but just little veggies and the portion was not big at all I left hungry. Nice shake and hashbrowns were the main event. Overpriced in my opinion.

Just ok - Edit
Conveniently located, sure to be vegan, ok food. We ordered a pad Thai that tasted like a tomato pasta sauce- not like any other pad Thai we’ve had. Can’t remember the other dish. Was quite forgettable. Food took a while to arrive, and second dish after we’d finished the first (good job be share all our food). Staff didn’t seem to like their jobs all that much #Veganuary

Good food, not so good coffee - Edit
Nice place, good location for people watching next to busterminal ;). Friendly staff. Good food, many options, also for drinks. The coffee was not so good, but they do have decaf, which is pretty rare around here. Omnivore

A solid option - Edit
Nothing here's going to blow you away.
Read moreThe decor is a little uninspiring, the staff are just about friendly enough, and the food is good but nothing to write home about. So it's a safe option that has two pages of vegetarian options, that include many vegan choices.

It's OK. - Edit
Agree with previous reviews, the food is OK, but have had better food from non vegan/ vegetarian restaurants when had to vegan-ise a dish.
Read moreThe pad thai itself was orange colour, came with a tomato, lime wedge and half a plate of bean sprouts. No peanuts or chilli. The noodles were all glued together. The iced Thai tea with coconut milk was a lifesaver in this weather.
It is nice to know that vegan food is available here, but it's not a place I'd rush to go back to for food.
Pros: Coconut milk!

A safe place to go - Edit
We arrived really late at Chiang Rai and needed something to eat before everything closed (still not getting used to Thai time schedule). We found this place that really surprised us, as it had 2 whole pages for vegetarian/vegan food.
Read moreThe portion are a little bit bigger than we had earlier in Bangkok, but certainly not so big as we could have had in a local market. A pro, however, is that you have the certainty that this place is always open.
The food we ordered was good, we even took a take away order for dinner. Average price, not so cheap.
Pros: 2 whole pages dedicated to veg food, Waiters are so friendly
Cons: Not so cheap
Si@eatplantsandtravel
Just eating here, and to be honest I think even - from Europe - can make a better pad thai 😔 but they make iced Thai tea with coconut milk, so that's a win!

Okay for veggie/vegan food - Edit
It’s nice to know there is somewhere that has vegetarian/vegan options so you’ll be able to eat but this isn’t somewhere I’d rush back to. Basic Thai dishes with veggie alternatives, not loads of vegan options. Pretty average price for restaurant dish in Thailand, around 90-130 BHT. Food wasn’t amazing, but was okay to eat. The male waiter was super friendly and helpful though and spoke very good English.

Tasty food, bit small portion - Edit
Pretty good place for something quick and easy. I had the pad Thai which was nice, but later realised you can get a very similar dish (maybe a bit nicer) around the corner in the market where the restaurants are in that square. It also cost about 40% less (the shop had an extensive shiny menu and does tofu). The portion is a similar size (I’m getting used to smaller portions now!)

Nice dinner! - Edit
Went here for dinner and had sweet and sour tofu with rice. It was a decent portion size for restaurants in Thailand, was very filling and tasty with nice presentation. The woman working there was very friendly and helpful and there’s a cute dog wandering around.

Meh - Edit
We went here right off the bus since it was literally right around the corner. There are two pages of vegan/veg food. We ordered the spring rolls, they were out. We then ordered dumplings. Also out. So we got fried tofu and French fries. I ordered the noodle soup and it was good. My boyfriend ordered fried rice with veggies/ mushroom and tofu and unfortunately has been sick all day(following day). The women’s restroom was broken. They didn’t have any toilet paper in the men’s. I mean... I just was generally dissatisfied and now my BF is sick so I just want to make everyone aware. Maybe you will have better luck. They DID however have a really cute dog there begging for food😄

Nice family run restaurant, complete with cute little dog!!
Read moreOriginally went in for coffee, as they have soya milk available. Pretty good latte. We decided to stay for food, and weren't expecting much, but we were definitely pleasantly surprised! We both had Thai food, which was tasty, with some nice spice. Delicious tofu!
More expensive than some places in town, but still reasonable value, and nice to have an air conditioned place with good WiFi!
Pros: Nice selection of veg food, Soya milk coffee, Cute dog!

One of the better options - Edit
There are not many vegan options in Chiang Rai, this place is the best place I have found so far.
Read moreAlthough it is not fully vegan they have an extensive veggie menu with lots of vegan options including mango sticky rice with coconut ice-cream, avocado salad with a choice of dressing, various curries with rice, fried rice with vegetables, etc. Lots of smoothies without milk or yoghurt available too. Coffees are available with soya milk. Really appreciate somewhere in town that actually sells healthy options.
Situated opposite the bus station.
Clean, modern and comfortable place to sit unlike the typical basic jey places.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Healthy options available
Cons: Serves meat and dairy
