Great Stay in Rhodes - Edit
We had an excellent stay at Acai Plant Based Boutique Hotel and overall thoroughly enjoyed our week here. The food was consistently outstanding, the rooms were lovely, and the location was ideal—close to both the beach and Rhodes Old Town. We also found plenty of convenient parking nearby, which made exploring the island easy.
Read moreThere are, however, a few small improvements that could make the guest experience even better, particularly around customer service during meal times.
As half-board guests, we were not given any explanation of how dinner or breakfast worked on our first evening or morning. We were left unsure of the process and noticed several other first-time guests experiencing the same confusion. A brief welcome explanation would make a big difference.
It would also be helpful if the daily chef’s special was proactively communicated or displayed on a board. We often had to ask, and staff sometimes seemed unsure of the details themselves.
During dinner service, plates were frequently cleared individually, before everyone at the table had finished. Waiting until all guests have completed a course would create a more relaxed and less disruptive dining experience. There were also a few small mistakes with orders during our stay, and we observed similar issues at other tables.
At breakfast, it would be beneficial to provide explanations of what was being served. We often had to ask, and staff were not always able to identify the items. On several occasions, we ended up using Google to find out what we were eating.
While the dinner staff were polite, we found them somewhat distant. Given the hotel’s small size and the fact that guests often dine with the same team throughout their stay, a little more friendliness and personal interaction would help create a warmer atmosphere.
We were also interested in the cooking class but found that staff were unable to provide information. It would be helpful if team members either knew the details or could easily find them for guests.
The rooftop area was a nice space, although it could have been kept a little tidier during our stay. Finally, dinner service started quite late for our personal preference, though we appreciate this may suit many guests.
Despite these minor points, we had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend Acai Plant Based Boutique Hotel. The quality of the food, accommodation, and location made for a wonderful holiday, and with a few service refinements the experience could be truly

Definitely worth staying here - Edit
We stayed in the seed suite on the half board package. The room was nicely decorated and spacious, a few minor issues with the room but nothing that spoiled the trip.
Read moreBreakfast was a big platter, something different each day. So got to try a lot of vegan Greek food.
3 course meal every evening - definitely worth the price to do this option.
Location wise, only 5 mins walk to the nearest beach and 10 mins to town. I likes it being a bit further out as it was quieter.
Highly reckoned staying here, it’s really nice to know everything is vegan, allows you to relax a bit more.

Amazing food vegan hotel and restaurant - Edit
Just incredible food and service. Went here a few times. The brunch and the dinner are so good, enjoyed the vegan feta rolls, linguine and aubergine starter.

Best Holidays Ever - Edit
Wow—what an experience! Acai Hotel blew us away from start to finish. The vibe is stylish yet welcoming, but the real showstopper is the plant-based fine dining. Every plate felt like art—bold flavors, stunning presentation, and dishes that completely redefined what plant-based cuisine can be. The team made the evening feel so special with their passion and care. Make sure you join the cooking class too. Truly unforgettable—I can’t wait to come back!

Amazing Stay - Edit
I had an amazing stay at Açaí Hotel! The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing, but the highlight was definitely the plant-based fine dining. Every dish was creative, delicious, and so thoughtfully prepared—it really felt like a special experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole visit even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a mix of comfort, luxury, and incredible food!

Has potential! - Edit
I really wanted to give this hotel five stars because I love supporting vegan businesses, but it didn’t quite meet expectations. The food was okay, though mostly vegetables and pasta with little variety. It would have been great to see some tofu, seitan, or tempeh dishes. Breakfast was especially underwhelming, with sweetcorn, kidney beans, salad, bread, and potatoes instead of more exciting options like scrambled tofu, carrot lox, or pancakes as listed on their “brunch” menu which most people don’t get to see.
Read moreThe complimentary coffee lacked flavor, and the bread and brownie tasted a bit stale. I understand it’s the hotel’s first year, but our mugs and glasses weren’t changed all week, the coffee machine wasn’t cleaned, the promised beach bag was missing which I had to chase, and the rooftop setup felt unfinished with loungers just stacked together.
On a positive note, the aesthetic was lovely and the staff were warm and welcoming. Overall, it was an okay stay. I’d recommend offering feedback forms to guests so the hotel can improve as they are still new.

Hi Ally, thank you for your review and feedback. As you mentioned it is our first year and certainly there is a lot of space for improvement. For example, we have already exciting plans for our rooftop for next summer.
Read moreOur breakfast platters have been a great success so far and dishes as scrambled tofu and pancakes as you mentioned, are available for brunch. We'd be really happy to see you for brunch too.
As we mention in our welcoming letter that you received upon check in, we kindly ask our guests to wash any kitchenware they use in their suites' kitchenettes.
Last but not least, the beach bag (a gift from us to guests) was not missing. After our conversation we explained that we have run out of them and we were waiting for new ones to arrive from Athens since they are custom made. As promised, we will send you one via post.
Thank you for visiting, hopefully see you again soon.

Great vegan hotel - Edit
Great vegan hotel. Nice staff and comfortable rooms. Very good location close to the old town of Rhodes.
Read moreFor breakfast we always got a platter with fruits, bread (with butter, jam and peanut butter or tahini), a savory and a sweet dish. It was really nice, but it could have been more creative especially the savoury dish. We received pizza once or salad. Would have preferred more breakfasty dishes like scrambled tofu etc.
Overall we had a great experience and can recommend the Acai to anyone.

Beautiful hotel and food! - Edit
Such a beautiful hotel, and the food is absolutely amazing!
Read moreDecor is modern and clean, we both loved the shower! Perfect for cooling off and relaxing after a hot day in the sun. We had the room with the mini bath outside - it was cold at all times, so if you like a cold dip or just want to cool off (I liked sitting on the edge with a book and having my legs in the pool!), this is the room for you!
The food is second to none. We loved every dish we tried. Breakfast was incredible - you will never go hungry in the morning! Lovely staff too, particularly the morning servers.
Super close to Rodos town, old town, and the beach.
We’ll be coming back for sure!
Pros: The food! , Location is excellent, Chill vibes all day and night

Rare gem in the heart of Rhodes 🌱👌🏻 - Edit
A small, fully vegan hotel that feels like a breath of fresh air. 💚
Read moreEvery detail is thoughtful, from the comforts in the room (for example, vegan bath products, which smell heavenly) to the vibrant, delicious meals at the Açai restaurant. (Tried absolutely everything on the menu during our stay)
The energy here is calm, conscious, and quietly revolutionary. The atmosphere minimal and earthly, yet luxurious. 🌿
The staff were genuinely kind, not just polite.
We also joined a cooking class with the chefs themselves. Learning about traditional Greek vegan dishes and making them with our own hands, was a unique and truly unforgettable experience.
🗺️📍 Everything is within walking distance. The beach, the city center, and the Old Medieval Town of Rhodes.
From the center, you can easily catch a bus to explore the rest of the island. That’s how we visited some of Rhodes’ must-see spots, like Lindos.
I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, whether you're vegan yourself or simply curious, it’s a beautiful experience either way.
I left feeling nourished in every sense: body, mind, and spirit. (Did I mention they offer roof yoga classes?🧘🏻♀️☀️)
The only negative thing is that we didn't stay longer.
If you're looking for more than just a stay, something healing, conscious, and real — this is where you’ll find it. 🌱🌟

Fantastic vegan hotel..a must visit for vegansand everybody! - Edit
This is a wonderful hotel in every way. It is very ecologically oriented, and the breakfasts are unbelievably great. There is also a restaurant associate with hotel; even for those not staying at the hotel, can’t have dinner there… I will give a separate review for the restaurant associated with a hotel(it also be a five star review!).

A beautiful restaurant just steps from the Old Town - Edit
While staying at Goji vegan hotel (Açai’s sister hotel), we knew we wanted to visit Açai for a meal. We opted for dinner and tried 6 items between us - all were incredible! We’re planning a return to Goji next year and we will definitely be visiting Açai for some meals while we’re there!
