Great and well-presented food - Edit
Super well-presented and interesting food. The interior is nice and quiet - away from the bustle of Rhodes town. Across two visits to the restaurant, we tried both the brunch and dinner menus and our favourite dish across both was the gyros. The meat and crispy onions on top were superb.
Read moreThe menu has a sort of reverse allergen marking; anything that contains allergens is marked while dishes that don't are assumed to be free of the allergen. However, though unmarked, the sun-kissed gnocchi required gluten-free pasta to be gluten-free. There was also some confusion over ordering a well, as we did end up with a different dish to what we had ordered (it was great anyway!!)

Great Stay in Rhodes - Edit
We had an excellent stay at Acai Plant Based Boutique Hotel and overall thoroughly enjoyed our week here. The food was consistently outstanding, the rooms were lovely, and the location was ideal—close to both the beach and Rhodes Old Town. We also found plenty of convenient parking nearby, which made exploring the island easy.

As half-board guests, we were not given any explanation of how dinner or breakfast worked on our first evening or morning. We were left unsure of the process and noticed several other first-time guests experiencing the same confusion. A brief welcome explanation would make a big difference.
It would also be helpful if the daily chef’s special was proactively communicated or displayed on a board. We often had to ask, and staff sometimes seemed unsure of the details themselves.
During dinner service, plates were frequently cleared individually, before everyone at the table had finished. Waiting until all guests have completed a course would create a more relaxed and less disruptive dining experience. There were also a few small mistakes with orders during our stay, and we observed similar issues at other tables.
At breakfast, it would be beneficial to provide explanations of what was being served. We often had to ask, and staff were not always able to identify the items. On several occasions, we ended up using Google to find out what we were eating.
While the dinner staff were polite, we found them somewhat distant. Given the hotel’s small size and the fact that guests often dine with the same team throughout their stay, a little more friendliness and personal interaction would help create a warmer atmosphere.
We were also interested in the cooking class but found that staff were unable to provide information. It would be helpful if team members either knew the details or could easily find them for guests.
The rooftop area was a nice space, although it could have been kept a little tidier during our stay. Finally, dinner service started quite late for our personal preference, though we appreciate this may suit many guests.
Despite these minor points, we had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend Acai Plant Based Boutique Hotel. The quality of the food, accommodation, and location made for a wonderful holiday, and with a few service refinements the experience could be truly

Lovely place for Brunch - Edit
We came here forl the other hotel (Goji vegan) to enjoy brunch after visiting the acropolis of Rhodes. The brunch menu is small but everything on it sounded delicious. We had a bagel and scrambled tofu and both were so fresh and tasty!

I stayed at the Açai plant based hotel and had half board at their restaurant. What an absolute joy to eat such wonderful, creative and beautifully vibrant vegan food. The atmosphere is very special. The family who run this hotel have created a go to restaurant in Rhodes for everyone who appreciates healthy, delicious food cooked with love. Breakfasts were a real treat too - a different selection everyday.

Great lunch spot in the heart of Rhodes town - Edit
We came here for lunch on our day trip to Rhodes. At lunchtime (11-14.30) you can select from the brunch menu. There are six brunch options, three savoury and three sweet. We enjoyed our two savoury dishes so much we ended up ordering the pancakes to share as a dessert! They have a combination of indoor and shaded outdoor seating, which was welcome on such a hot day. Staff were impeccably nice and good to chat with. Would certainly recommend this place for vegans and non-vegans alike! Their a la carte menu looks great, but is only available during their evening hours.

Lovely restaurant, could only go for brunch as cruise would depart before dinner. Dinner menu did look amazing. Had the bagel, the tomatoes and balsamic was lovely. Also had the pancakes which looked amazing and tasted great.

This is a top notch restaurant in every way. The food is inventive, exciting, delicious, healthy. The service is great, the setting is great, a truly great experience all around. Note that you do not need to be staying at the hotel in order to have brunch or dinner here (only breakfast is restricted to those staying at the hotel)
