Terrific Indian food - Edit
After a week in Japan we decided we needed a break from local food, heard about this place. They were full and we needed to wait 15 minutes for a table. Well worth the wait! Awesome food, and knowledgeable vegan-savvy staff.

Indian restaurants are always a safe bet for vegans, so this time too. The staff spoke English, which of course makes it easier, and they were well versed in what vegan means. We were there for lunch and there were two alternative curries to choose from as well as rice and chapati. I ate a curry with red beans which was delicious. It felt like a really good Indian curry.

The vegan set is well marked on the menu. Large portions of delicious food. We went without a reservation and it was lined up out the door when we left! It’s a good option in Kanazawa.

Lovely vegan-friendly place - Edit
My wife and friends, we were supposed to take a bullet train from Kanazawa that was leaving around 7 PM and we desperately were looking for vegan options. Although they were supposed to open at 6 PM, the staff were really kind. They welcomed us at 5:40 PM, they took our order right away and prepared our food really fast. They knew exactly what vegan means. On top of this, the food is good and the location is amazing. We definitely recommend this restaurant. Thank you.

Staff was excellent and pointed out veg/vegan options, asking before we even mentioned dietary restrictions. Food was also excellent and they even brought out an extra tray of spicy additions for our meal.

We had the lunch menu, it was delicious. I’m vegetarian, waiter noticed I was ordering vegetarian and checked that I was okay to have naan as naan not vegan which shows how well the staff cater! Delicious food.

You must go there, if you love Indian/nepalese food. Service was excellent, a waiter offered help if needed. Level of spiciness can be selected as well as side dish like rice or naan bread. Free water was provided and refilled. I had the vegan Thali, which was a large portion. We really loved this place and friendliness and service provided!

Plenty of vegan options on the lunch menu. Chapati is offered as a side (the naan is vegetarian but not vegan). Very flavourful and the pickles and salad on the side complement the dish nicely.

The food here is really outstanding. We had the curry set which is vegan with rice (naan not vegan unfortunately). Staff are super friendly & speak English and the menu also comes in English if that is helpful to you. Would definitely recommend. Opens for dinner at 6pm and would suggest getting there on the dot as it fills up quickly.

Read moreGood portion size, it wasn't too much - but still filling. Both dishes were full of flavour and authentic. Staff were extremely nice - we highly recommend coming here if you're in Kanazawa. Reservations are helpful, this restaurant looks really popular and fills up quickly.

The food here was seriously amazing. The staff speaks English, and are super knowledgeable about what is vegan on the menu. The vegan food was fantastic and I cannot recommend this place enough. A must visit if you’re vegan.

Saved me on a snowy night - Edit
After three different restaurants turned me down two days before Christmas, I managed to eat a lovely warm and comforting dinner here, full of flavors and health. The waitress speaks English and points at all vegan dishes, which includes starters, almost all the curries and the chapati bread.

Super friendly staff who can speak English well. They understand what vegan means. We went for lunch. They have lunch sets: 1 curry = 950 yen, 2 currys 1100 yen, 3 currys = 1300 yen. 2 out of 4 currys on offer were vegan. Chapati bread and rice is vegan too, naan bread isn't.

A very nice place for vegan food. Staff is very friendly and knows exactly which options are vegan or can be made vegan. When the food was served, the hostess came to our table to indicate that the dish was really vegan.
