Great value for money - Edit
For € 10 you can eat as much as you like from the buffet. The staff knows very well which dishes are vegan and which ones aren't. Good, decent food at a fair price! The restaurant is a bit plain, so not suited for a fancy night out.
Pros: Value for money, Buffet
Cons: Not every dish is vegan.

Plenty of Vegan Options - Edit
Aahaar is not my favorite Indian restaurant; but it is always my choice when having a quick meal in Antwerpen because it's close to the train station.
The food is good; but not outstanding.
Prices are very fair, and portions are also quite decent.
Especially if you take the buffet.
Plenty of vegan options; but it's necessary to ask to the staff (they are very helpful).
Take-out is also available (also for the buffet).
Pros: good value, many vegan options, location
Cons: not all vegan

established North Indian buffet in little India district in town centrumv - Edit
Clean restaurant on a side one way street close to centrum. Small Qpark across street. offers North Indian buffet, and a menu consisting of South Indian dishes also. Taste is good but quality of ingredients is average. Salad, pickle, chapati, rice, dhokla (dried), dal, aloo matter, green beans, paneer curry. Average reliable food. Dessert was besan burfee and kheer. Drinks or water not included. 10 euros pp. clean decent all vegetarian.

Good Indian food at great prices - Edit
The restaurant offers either a buffet, which changes daily, for EUR10, or a la carte dining, with North and South Indian vegetarian entrees. The service is very friendly and the atmosphere informal but pleasant. This, combined with a central location in the city, makes it a very good choice.
Pros: Good food, Good prices

Most amazing restaurant experience in Antwerp - Edit
What an amazing restaurant! Seriously guys go there, you won't regret it! I came in, was warmly welcomed, and when I explained that I'm vegan she immediately started pointing out the dishes on the menu that were suitable for me. She recommended the buffet and I agreed, luckily, as there were only two out of maybe 8 dishes which were not vegan. And everyhthing was really tasty, super delicious, filling and healthy! I absolutely loved that place. Since you pa only 10 euro for the all-you-can-eat-buffet, I went there twice and would go again if I was still in Antwerp..

Great, well worth a visit. - Edit
Visited after Reggae Geel Festival, central location right by Central station. Very welcoming staff who spoke English, the buffet is all Vegan apart from 2 items, simply pick up a silver tray and help yourself. On the day we went they had puri, rice and 5 curries plus salad, I would highly recommend a visit. Wish they had been at Reggae Geel, 35,000 people and NO vegan/ vegetarian food stall????

Buffet is super - Edit
Not entirely vegan but simply ask and they'll tell you! most of the buffet was vegan friendly anyway! For 10€ it really was worth it for a nice filling lunch. I'm under the impression that the buffet changes everyday. Their saag aloo is really great
Pros: nice price, good for vegans
Cons: i dont think the staff speak Dutch ( i just spoke

Real Indian Food, In Belgium! - Edit
So happy to be recommended this, eat as much as you want for €10! Also very tempting à la carte menu inc dosa and snacks.
The buffet was delicious, spicy and nutritious. Not a huge range but perfectly good. This feels like Indian food for Indian people, right in the heart of the diamond district.
You'd have to ask about vegan in buffet. Jain food clearly marked in menu.
Pros: Value, Variety, Delicious
Cons: Water Is Expensive, No Tap Water Available

not worth it - Edit
Expensive with 9€ for that buffet.
Had mostly just a bunch of boring spicy soups.

Lomedin 06 Nov 2015 - "Expensive with 9€ for that buffet" - All you can eat buffet for 9€ expensive????? Jaaaysus...
Anyway, depending on the day, you can get better variety/dishes, although they tend to be, at least, ok. Anyway, wouldn't trust a review claiming that 9€ for a free buffet is expensive.......

great cheap spicy indian food - Edit
finally managed to get here. they place was pretty crowded, but we could still find a table. as mentioned before, you can get an all you can eat buffet for only 9 eur. the food is seriously good and spicy ! the restaurant is visited by quite a lot of actual indians which is usually a good sign if you go out to eat indian food. i would definetely recommend this place, great quality food, very close to the central station for no money at all. what more do you want !

A Great Affordable Option for Vegans - Edit
This was my fourth visit to Aahaar, and all have been good. The staff know which dishes on the buffet are vegan, and it's all you can eat for 9 euro which is a real bargain by local standards. There have always been at least 3 vegan curries, plus rice and sides, and they even offered to bring me a plate of the flatbread made without butter (at no extra cost.)
Good casual and affordable option for vegans, but only those who can handle a bit of spice!
Pros: Tasty, Affordable, Decent Vegan Selection
Cons: Occasionally food is not very hot

Mixed Feelings - Edit
Quite a busy place very close to Antwerp central station. Very nice staff with immediate understanding what "vegan" means.
I went for samosas and a dosa with coconut sauce and lentil soup and a green tea.
When I got my meal I found that the coconut sauce had been replaced with coriander sauce because it turned out not to be vegan. I would have preferred to be asked before serving because I already had coriander sauce with the samosa and 2 meals with (a bit bland) coriander sauce was a bit too much of coriander.
The dosa and the samosas were good, the lentil soup contained a big peace of okra (?) with a wood-like consistency, I chewed a bit on it and then let it disappear discretely in my handkerchief. The rest of the soup was ok. The tea (coming in a tea-bag) was one of the standard brands over here, not great. And it was served when I was about finished with my meal.
All-in-all I have mixed feelings about this place, but I will give it another try when I get back to Antwerp.
Pros: friendly staff, many vegan options, close to central station
Cons: quality of food not always great, tea could be better

marnia 24 Aug 2015 - The Okra was not Okra and it always has that bit that is like bark, a bit stringy, it was not a failing, just a traditional Indian ingredient that I cannot remember the name of.

Great vegan buffet - Edit
This place offers a great Indian buffet, generally four dishes, rice, something sweet, some raw vegetables and Indian bread.
Mostly three of the four are vegan, ask the friendly staff and they will also bring you some vegan Indian bread (the one on the buffet has ghee in it I think).
The price is great for what you get too.
They also have an extensive menu, but generally people are so eager for the buffet they don't check that out.
The interior is not overwhelmingly cozy or warm, but it fits the atmosphere well and is authentic.
Too bad their tea is regular Lipton I believe and the other drinks are the usual sugardrinks or juices that aren't too great either.
The buffet is around 9€ and the dishes from the menu vary between 4-10€ or something I believe.
Pros: great food, relatively cheap, vegan friendly
Cons: drinks not really authentic

One of the best in Antwerp - Edit
Eat as much as you want for 9e. What else can I say? A 100% vegetarian restaurant with at least 4 out of 6 vegan choices. You also have a la carte menu. It can get a bit busy in the evening sometimes so you can call to be on the safe side and make a reservation.
Highly recommended.
Pros: Cheap, A lot of vegan options
