Beautiful 3-Course meal - Edit
We were a party of ten here for my husband's nan's 80th!
Read moreInitially my starter soup came out incorrectly as the usual Sunday Roast starter soup instead of the vegan one. But it was corrected immediately.
Both the vegetable soup and the mediterranean tart delicious and flavourful! However, they were both extremely hot-- I burnt my tongue. Even with some waiting and blowing the food was just too hot for me so I always ended up being the last one still eating.
The side salad to the tart was fresh but tasteless, there was no dressing/seasoning whatsoever.
The dessert was a mix of indulgent biscoff and waffle and a refreshingly light vegan ice cream. Perfectly balanced.
Ultimately I left with a full belly and happy vibes.

Lovely atmosphere with its own separate vegan menu, also GF DF - Edit
We visited bistro in a party of 8 on a busy week day lunchtime, we had booked which was a good idea as by the end of lunch the bistro was full. There is an extensive menu including several standard vegan options, but the nice surprise was the separate vegan option with choice of 4 starters, 6 mains and three desserts. I had the mushroom risotto served with a large salad, it was excellent, and for dessert vegan ice cream selection. The other members of our party are all meat eaters and all the meals were all freshly cooked, so there was a delay with service, but the quality and portion sizes made it worth the wait. One of our group prefers gluten free and there was a separate menu too in addition to the bistro menu.
