Bombay Cafe is in the House of Spices shopping plaza, directly on OBT & Oak Ridge Road. It is directly across another vegetarian Indian restaurant, Woodlands.
I love Woodlands, though prefer Bombay Cafe for a few reasons:
1. Gobi Manchurian (battered & fried cauliflower, in a decadent sauce to die for, with onions and peppers) is my favorite and I prefer Bombay's to Woodlands
2. At Bombay, you order at the counter, take a number and a seat. After served your food and drinks and enjoying your meal, you pay at the same counter. This process is much quicker than at Woodlands!!!
3. Bombay isn't nearly as busy as Woodlands so you typically never have to wait. :)

Chamberlin's offers a cheap and delicious salad bar! Their smoothies are AMAZING and super cheap as well. It is rarely packed so service is nice and quick. I love their eggless egg salad offered on the other side of the bar. I typically avoid buffet style dining so do not partake in veggie lasagne & so on. Their juice bar ROCKS!!!!!!!! Mmmm!

I have eaten at Cafe 118 several times and love it. They specialize in yummy alkalizing food which is my fave!!! Try the lasagne, chili rellenos, or pad thai. Mm! Their ice cream is TO DIE FOR! Topped with these little almond-cacao squares, WOW. S'mores???! AMAZING!!!! It can be expensive, at $14+ for entrees, so share if you are on a budget, but check it out! OH AND FRESH COCONUT WATER! :D

Long-time regular at Garden Cafe

I have been eating at Garden Cafe for at least 13 years. Orange chicken is by far my favorite meal there. It has broccoli and vegetables and the "chicken" is crispy on the outside and delectably juicy on the inside. The sauce is savory with a bit of orange zest-- delicious. Their lunch menu is very affordable and I love their noodles.
Nice place for birthdays or get-togethers; great for take-out; lovely for dinner-for-two. The server as of late can be a bit stiff but she means well!!!

Spicy and good

Service here was great. Friendly, smiling faces were eager to greet my boyfriend and me. The dishes are far spicier than I am used to, as I frequent Bombay Cafe (across the street from Woodlands on OBT) and their food is milder with a nice kick. We ordered the $12+ "sampler" special which felt like a rip-off. Other veg. Indian joints would be charging $7 for this exact amount of food. Maybe it is more expensive because it's a large venue & right by the Florida Mall. :)

I frequent Dandelion often living in Orlando. I try and eat organic/local when I can and love supporting this place. These are my favorite salads:
Polynesian Banana Fantasy (organic bananas, walnuts, gnome raisins, celery, carrots, chickpeas and AMAAAZING indescribable tasty curryous dressing)
Abundant Harvest (soo much in this salad- the goddess dressing is to die for! Make sure you CHEW this salad well as you want those enzymes to break down all the raw veggies)
The Giddyup wrap is killer for 1st timers and non-vegetarians with chili, goddess dressing, vegan or regular cheese & blue corn chips & stuff. YUM!
Their organic teas are excellent (try yerba mate plus chocolate plus hemp milk!) & they usually have a tiny selection of vegan baked goods like cupcakes, oatmeal bars, macaroons.
If you're visiting you ought to eat here twice & try different things. :)

Awful service, messed up order

I have had several encounters with bad customer service at this place. New management proves to be rude unaccommodating. The food can be delicious though greasy. I have had my take-out order ruined with the exact opposite of what I asked, such as "add tempeh to chili lime burrito" receiving a completely different burrito, normally with tempeh, without ANY tempeh! What the heck! [edit by staff- see ToS]
