Delicious vegan food
It took me awhile to try this place, but I was so glad that I did! I had tried the pan-seared basil tofu with risotto, and then went back the next day with a friend and got it again! It is one of the more expensive things on the menu (~$11?) but well worth it. There is a great atmosphere and lots of seating.

I had a great experience in Maoz too. Everything is fresh and there is a wide variety of toppings. Aside from being a chain restaurant, everything is great.

Cozy Thai is one of my favorite restaurants in State College. Everything on the menu is great. I have gone at least 15 times and the food is so good, no one has ever had any leftovers. It is a locally owned store with great atmosphere and service!

Veg friendly restaurant in Hanoi
I have been here three times and the food is always good. I can't think of what to recommend, because nothing is amazing, but it is consistently good and worth checking out if you are looking for a veg. friendly place. There is additional seating upstairs, so you should be guaranteed a place. The menu is in English and they are used to foreigners, but the English of the staff is limited. I've generally had a main dish, soup, and drink, which is ~75,000 VND total. You do need to go down an alley, but there are signs, so just be on the lookout for them.

Best veg food in Hanoi
This restaurant has the best vegetarian food I have had in Hanoi. Everything is fresh and tastes great. The menu is translated in English and the staff are helpful. The owner is very friendly and offered many things for us to try. Prices are reasonable (~30,000 VND for an entree) Highly recommended!

A DC favorite!
I love coming here, and there is a park nearby where you can sit and eat your burrito. The hot sauces are delicious and make the burrito tasty and memorable (especially the mild #1). A large burrito is $7. Just be prepared to say what type of tortilla you want (wheat, spinach, etc.) and whether or not you want cheese. It is a popular location, so the wait is usually ~15 minutes, but well worth it!

I took a taxi to the spiral diner since it didn't appear to be walking distance from anywhere, but it was worth it. Everything I had was so savory - even the salad - the raw walnut dressing was great! I also had the tofu scramble, which is the best i've had anywhere. The staff was very friendly - an all around great experience!
