Loving Food

20 Jun 2011

Loving Hut is a well known vegan brand in Singapore and at this outlet @IP just outside Tanjong Pagar MRT station exit C, the Harmony bento set is a must try. Incorporating the LH trade mark Ocean Bliss and Oyster Mushroom, with Japanese soft tofu, achar and salad mix all for a resonable 8.90 ! They are having daily specials and the Soyato ice cream is creamy and lovely. Definitely have to stop by here for your favourite food cooked with love.

Vegan Veg

03 Jun 2011

Owner of store is vegan friendly, and go out of his way to assure us his food does not have milk or egg added. His treatment of the monkey head mushroom noodle is unique with expensive ingredients and realistic taste. Definitely great food and taste ! We find he is receptive to feedback and comments we have given.

Uniquely Singapore !

13 Aug 2012

Located at the corner of Block 122, next to the car park entrance, this brand new vegan outlet is also next door neighbour to the well-established Mai Zi Su at block 128.

Boasting three firsts, unique vegan dishes in the Singapore food scene, you can find first rate food at inexpensive prices here. The three signature dishes are hericium laksa, hericium kway teow, and french bean noodle.

We tried them and they are good ! Really nice, especially the hericium laksa, and the rich herbal soup that comes with the french bean noodles. Also not to be missed out is the G-Rice roasted version.

The cook is a published author whose vegan cookbook you can purchase at any Popular Book Company in Singapore and Malaysia. He has written two books and a third one is in the works.

Surfer's Paradise

13 Oct 2007

Located right at the heart of Surfer's paradise main street, Govindas offer cooked vegetarian Indian/Western style. The Lagsania is absolutely mouth watering and the simple cauliflower tempura with sauce dip is very tasty and addictive. Sells them six a pack for $5.

Just opposite the shopping center on the left side of Carville Avenue is the Asian Supermarket, where vegetarian supplies can be bought, such as vegetables, instant noodles, canned food, frozen food and vegetarian spices, sauce. Makes home cooking easy.

Herbivore - top Japanese vegan stall

12 Aug 2012

We went there on Father's Day, being more expensive than its cousin Zen restaurant next door, which was closed due to building renovation. The bento set is $21 but full of goodies.. What to say ?? Everything is nice there ! The food taste good, the cooking smelled good in the dining room. We ordered vegan versions of noodles, tempura, tofu and kongbu (sp) a lovely green seaweed. Expensive but excellent... for three people easily top $80.

Great Value Buffet

12 Aug 2012

Lingzhi @ Nouvena offers best value buffet you can find. Cheap and good. We ordered vegan versions and the waitress are very helpful.. only 3 dishes are non-vegan ! A great place for afternoon tea with friends.. but check their closing time to prevent disappointment.

Nice Decor Good Food

12 Aug 2012

Like the great ambience, nice low lights, spacious seatings with choice of sofa or chairs.. library corner is also a nice touch.. a place to bring friends to relax... Great menu of juices and vegetarian food. Some may contain egg, but vegan options are available. We tried the vegan pizza, wanton noodle, organic noodle and natural fruit juices.

Simple Food & Yummy Green

12 Aug 2012

Same owner as Yummy Green @Downtown East Pasir Ris. This stall is located just across the road from Tampinese Junior College, served by bus no. 29.

It boasts 168 food items !! Surely the largest collection by any measure.. This is a stall also related to Roma Deli @ Beach Road Shaw Towers.

I like to try their daily special, particularly Friday special Kway Chap. Rich thick gravy and ask for no-mock version, it is vegan !

Vegan Burg Home Delivery

30 May 2011

We love the Vegan Burg Home Delivery service, for meals costing $20 or more. The grass backing on the chairs are very comfortable and the place has a warm homey atmosphere! :) The fries and hotdog are delicious. And the chocolate ice cream is definitely worth a try, not too hard or soft, but just nice!
