Wish it had more taste - Edit
To be fair, I don't think she understood that I wanted the kimchi noodles, cause it was pretty bland. But the restaurant was clearly marked vegan and us shy people love that! 😄 but she was helpful and made sure to ask if I wanted egg or not?

Lovely Vegetarian / vegan place - Edit
A good chice of porridge, noodle soup and fried noodles with. Choice of different side dishes. The kimchi is delicious! The side dishes ( mushrooms, eggs, tofu) are served cold, but i just put the eggs and texu in the noodle soup to eat them warm! The milk noodle soup was very good, i added a bit of spicy sauce and a bit of salt and it was delicious! Very good value for the price! We are coming back!

Delicious Kimchi, Tofu and Noodle Soup - Edit
Super delicious, especially if you add a tiny bit of the very spice sauce, all vegetarian and vegan. The owner asks you if you are vegan or vegetarian, awesome!

Practical for English speaking vegans and others! - Edit
They had a very "tourist friendly" menu & the food was cheap, fast and good. I agree with the other review: not fine dining but good eating. A bit extra hot on the dining room, but they had multiple fans to help with that.

Good food - Edit
Limited options if you are not a big fan of porridge. Our soups were tasty but a bit bland, additional spices are provided. I did not enjoy the fermented plum juice.

Really cheap and filling - Edit
I was surprised to find a place with so many vegan options on the menu. If I were staying on the island for longer I’d have definitely gone back.

Great value - Edit
This small restaurant is in the centre of the main town on Liuqiu. They have an illustrated menu to help you choose. Generous portions of tasty food: not fine dining but good eating

Thank goodness for this place - Edit
With very slim vegan pickings on Liuqiu, thank goodness this place is open.
Read moreThere are three categories of dishes here: rice congee, noodle soup, and dry noodles (no soup).
All have a mixture of vegetables included. And you can choose what type of noodles you’d like (6 types).
Dishes range from 60-80 NT.
You can choose to order ‘pickles’ on your dish which are spicy, kind of like Kim Chi (fermented vegetables and chili).
There is a menu available which is partially in English and the owner/cook does speak some English also.
Pros: Great veg option on the island, Fair prices, Seems healthy
Cons: Menu is rather limited, Some dishes may include egg, Mosquitos under the tables biting ankles
