Hit and miss - Edit
This place is ok. Unfortunately, I chose some mock fish which was so dry and salty it was inedible (and I rarely leave food on my plate). The rest of the food was fine though and it's great to be able to get a dose of greens on the island.
Read moreThere's a small plastic seating area and a TV. It looks cluttered with rubble on the tables. The atmosphere is shabby but that's easy to disregard when you're hungry.
It isn't pay-by-weight, you serve yourself and then the owners will look at the plate to decide the price. The prices were usually 60NT for a small plate and a bowl of rice.
As with all of the Taiwanese buffets, the quality of your meal can depend on the what time you dine. For the freshest selection, it's best to arrive soon after opening.
Pros: Possibly the only place to get a plate of veggies, Open for most of the afternoon, Affordable prices
Cons: Poor atmosphere, Looks a bit dirty and cluttered, Dishes are hit and miss
