a bit of a hidden gem, I had walked past this place for years without noticing it. since going in, I’ve been back 3 times, it’s a lovely atmosphere with tasty, traditional Ethiopian food. Friendly staff too :)

It's in an apparently incongruous location, but is welcoming and friendly. Food is terrific, 11 quid for the vegan special and I can't always finish it: arrive hungry leave sated. Lots of lovely spicy food....

Our favourite restaurant in south London! Delicious food, huge portions, lovely staff. We always get the vegan platter, which includes about 6-8 different dishes - worth 5 stars. Homemade honey wine is delicious, very slightly sweet with a pleasant honey taste. Can get crowded on the weekends, so book ahead. The owners are very kind and attentive. Clean, and pleasant ambiance.

Amazing Shared Vegan Platter - Edit
We got 3x vegan platters and it came as one HUGE portion, which looked and tasted utterly incredible. Generous top ups of the bread were supplied for us to get every last bit. Super filling too. We also had the Kategna to start, an amazing spicy oily toasted dough-like starter. 100% recommend.

Vegan platter is absolutely delicious! Several vegan options, but the platter is a combo of them all - perfect! Lovely owner, very hospitable and friendly. I'd give 5 stars for suitability for mixed eaters, but the app only allows max of 4.
