Best falafel in town

Love how they prepare their pitas with grenade seeds and fresh herbs. It's more expensive than your usual take-away falafel but totally worth it. Their falafel are being prepared fresh, there are options for beetroot hummus and other delicious toppings. I can recommend the warak inab as well.

Pros: Fancy toppings, everything is fresh, Nice staff, Fritz Cola lemonades

Cons: Take-away only

Just had an awesome Babaganoush! Good price, great quality!

Lebanese vegan food, relaxed atmosphere, you pay first and can take away or stay.

Great food!

I was driving through Basel on my way to the airport and found Za Za. Small place but everything tasted so fresh and tasty . I ask for a platte recommendation to the owner and it was excellent! Highly recommend and next time around here will defensively stop by!

Pros: Fresh, Delicious , Super friendly owner

Cons: They need a sitting area

Recommendation for Vegans

Nice spot, they have different wraps, also falafel wraps. All vegan. They take Schweizer Franken and Euro. 1 Wrap around 10 Euros (Switzerland is expensive). But the size is big. You need to sit outside or take away, they don´t have permission for sit inside (17.8.2019)

Pros: All vegan , Friendly Stuff

Great vegan food but it's only a take away

The food was really delicious (we ate the mezze plate) and the stuff was really nice (although one of them only spoke swiss german and it was hard to unterstand him) . You can pay in euros but they prefer schweizer Franken. There weren't any tables and the seats only seem to be there to sit down while you're waiting. The food was expensive for take away food - the mezze plate was 18 Franken.

Pros: All vegan, Nice and friendly stuff, Delicious food - try the mezze plate

Cons: Expensive , You have to take your food away-not even one table

All vegan but limited seating

This small outlet of the Za Zaa chain has great food but less choice than the bigger ones and very limited seating. However it's the only 100% vegan one.
