For a special occasion nothing could beat this. We chose the yellow pairing and the knowledge about each different glass was excellent. The food was the best I have ever eaten! Top service, fine dining at its best.

Have been here a few times but came here recently for my birthday. The food was sick and I can’t recommend the non alcoholic pairing enough especially if you like teas / kombucha. It was probably the first time in my life that I’ve experienced a tasting menu where the food / drink pairing elevated the taste and flavors. Staff was great and knowledgeable as well. I only wish that I had enough money that I could justify coming here more than once a year.

Appetisers were amazing! - Edit
I booked for a lunch as I wanted fewer courses! The restaurant inside is lovely. I had to chose one option for the main.
Read moreIt started off with the appetisers which are not included in the 3 course. I loved all of them particularly the capsicum consume, and the little tart.
Next was a tomato and white pea and saltbush. That was really nice and served with a warm sourdough bread. The olive oil served with the bread was infused with various things and was delicious. I really liked the bread and olive oil!
I chose the roasted celeriac with farro and cumquat and while nice, it didn’t match the flavours of the appetisers/entree for me.
The dessert was fig, sumac and pistachio. The ice cream was delicious but again I kept thinking about the appetisers!
Staff were lovely.

Well curated seasonal menu with waitstaff who were friendly and explained everything perfectly!! Every course was a delight and my non-vegan partner was super impressed.

Don’t let the price deter you, much better fine dining than any other Omni fine dining place with vegan options.
Cosy and moody restaurant - only drawback is that you could possibly be seated quite close to other patrons and share conversations haha

Creative Vegan Fine Dining with Amazing Flavors - Edit
Had a great dinner at Yellow in Sydney! The courses were creative with lots of umami flavor, and each one felt unique (though a few were a bit similar). The staff were super friendly and passionate about veganism, and they even surprised me with a birthday treat. The wine pairing was nice, except for the first sour beer. A bit pricey, but overall a delicious and memorable experience.

Read moreWe had the six course menu with non alcoholic pairing and loved every minute of it. The entire evening was an explosion of taste and texture and well worth the money.
Also the ambience in the restaurant is lovely (a bit dark maybe but personally I like it that way, very romantic) and staff made sure we had a fab evening every step of the way. Recommend!

I had the pleasant surprise of revisiting Yellow for my 2 year anniversary. My partner and I don't typically do fine dining in the way where the staff explain the food to you, but it was a nice experience and I enjoyed learning about the carefully selected ingredients and experiencing how well they complimented each other. It was clear that a lot of care and creativity went into every small dish. And although the portions are on the smaller side, the number of courses meant we left feeling satisfied and like we’d experienced a delightful variety. Being vegan for a decade now, this is a unique experience in that you don't feel like you're having mock anything - it's not trying mimic animal products but instead leaves you with an appreciation of what plant flavours can do. It ends up being a-bit pricey all together, but we ended up getting drink pairings that were also excellent (no regrets). If you're looking for something abit different, delicious and a little fancy, definitely try this at least for a special occasion. This will be our go to spot for anniversaries.

Had my birthday dinner here and not only was the food great, they were very accomodating with serving my own vegan cake I brought in. All my non veg friends had their expectations surpassed!! Also really nice vibe at night, love the atmosphere of the restaurant

My non vegan friend and I had a lovely experience for lunch at Yellow. The indoor seating with café style vibe tables and the ambiance was lovely. The taste of the dishes grew on us after 2-3 bites. We didn’t go with the tasting menu and ordered 2 different dishes from each category to share. The polenta chip snack was delicious (one of my faves). Customer service was perfect!

Incredible food and environment. Lovely to have a proper fancy meal and explanations of each course, with real thought gone into each dish, which you often don't get at meat focused fancy restaurants where veggies are an after thought!

Staff are very knowledgeable and actively ask about allergies/restrictions and so on. Also good at explaining the specials.
Felt the wine pairing was expensive, it would have doubled our bill which we don't think is quite right, so we didn't go for this.
A must book in Sydney, especially for a celebration.
