Unique Experience, Incredible Food!!

We attended the vegan blind tasting menu tonight at Yaya’s Kitchen & it blew our expectations out of the water!!! Friday nights are their fully vegan menu nights, but they mentioned they could make accommodations for a vegan substitute if they had at least 24 hrs notice before a Saturday tasting.
They explain each dish & the origins & history of the ingredients.
The intimate venue makes it feel extra special & the service was exceptional!
My partner and I agreed this was the best dining experience we’ve ever had! They don’t advertise & have been open for 7 years just from word of mouth, so you know that means it’s something special!
This is a must-try for vegan foodies!

Pros: Delicious, Entertaining, Intimate

Excellent West African Vegan tasting menu!

We really enjoyed the 5 course vegan blind tasting menu (offered on every other Friday)! Dishes are plated beautifully and each dish is explained by the co-owner: what the ingredients are and their historical and cultural importance. We got the non-alcoholic drink pairing, which was fun! Questions by guests are encouraged throughout. Ingredients are also brought around to guests to experience in their raw form. Yaya also chats with guests after the dinner service.

Overall a really fun and educational experience, would absolutely recommend to vegans looking to try West African cuisine!

Pros: All vegan blind tasting menu on Fridays, Fantastic flavour combinations, Educational and guest engaging dining experience
