A lot of vegetarian options - Edit
A nice restaurant with plenty of vegetarian options. Highly recommended. We ordered a garlic naan, aloo gobi, pilau rice, steamed rice and mixed vegetables. I asked if the food could be made too spicy and that was no problem. There was certainly still enough flavor in the dishes.

Sehr leckeres veganes Essen - Edit
Wir waren von dem Essen begeistert. Es gab sehr viele vegane Optionen (die typischen für indische Restaurants, wie Naan, Gemüsecurrys oder Gemüse Samosa). Besonders die Kichererbsen und das Naan haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Service war auch sehr gut und konnte gut englisch.

It’s on a very touristy street with many restaurants where the server try to lure you in but this was definitely worth it.
We paid about 50€ for 2 main dishes, 2x rice and one naan 4 drinks so it is pricy compared to the non touristic party of the city buts still with it.
Pros: Service , Different spice levels
Cons: Pricy compared to the rest of Funchal

Great Food and Experience - Edit
The food was really great and the people are friendly. The Mattar Panner the Momos were excellent and hit all the right spots. I would love to come back and try it again and would recommend the place to other people for vegetarian options.

The Owner is vegetarian and able to give recommondations for vegan dishes on the menu. A lot of vegetarian food, some of it is vegan. Nice place, nice people.

We were heading to another Indian restaurant, walked by this one and it looked good so we ddd decided to give it a try.
Read moreWhat a mistake. It was so disappointing…. The food lacks flavour, like if they had ran out of spices in the kitchen. What happened?? Do you always cook like this?
And if you ask clients if they want their food spicy, then please make it spicy. Otherwise, please don’t even bother to ask at all.
