Gezellig plekje - Edit
Samen met mijn moeder het vegan hoofdmenu gegeten. Het eten kwam supersnel, ik denk dat we nog geen 5 minuten hebben gewacht na het bestellen. Het eten was heel lekker, met name de bulgur en de okra.

Interesting concept & satisfying food - Edit
I always like the shared dinner experiences but on top of that I like that you don't know exactly what you're gonna get (they ask if you have any diet restrictions and if you want a drink with or without alcohol), and the rest is a tasty surprise! I particularly like their baba ganoush and the beetroot salad. The falafel was also quite nice and I'm not that much into it.
Read moreThe staff is SUPER EFFICIENT and friendly. The restaurant was very busy but still everyone was served, tables were cleaned promptly, etc. Reasonable price for the experience. Overall, I had a very enjoyable dining experience and I'd recommend it
Pros: Many vegan options, Efficient staff, Cozy

They have the Ottolengi books but lack the touch - Edit
Started with some nice traditional mezzes. Good baba ganoush and bread. Mains were bland and very similar in taste, not very balanced in combination. Served in small bowls with looks nice but the food cooled down rapidly so it ends up luke warm on your plate. The vegan baklava was a disgrace: just dry baked filo with no detectable filling or sweetness. Quality was mostly fast food for restaurant prices. Atmosphere and service were good.

Cons: Vegan mains are disappointing, Bit overpriced , Vegan baklava was terrible

Heard a lot about Yalla Yalla but it was a bit of a disappointment. The food was okay but not as tastfull as I hoped. Same for the falafel, no taste at all. So you don't see me here again.

Quick quick: try it! - Edit
We had delicious take away food from this special restaurant. We tried the vegan surprise menu (like Arabic and Libanees tapas) with three types of beans, beats, rice, salad and potatoes. And a Libanees tasty flatbread with eggplant and other veggies.

Plenty of vegan options. Had some very nice and fresh falafel there. Staff is super friendly. And, if you like, they have an exclusive craftbeer on the menu, which I recommend.

Gezellige plek, heerlijk eten, vooral de voorafjes zijn verrukkelijk. Het is alleen veel te veel. De helft was voor ons voldoende geweest.

Fun place for everyone - Edit
We got many different small dishes. The people here were very pleasant, I almost felt like I was at their home as a visitor. When I was there it wasn’t finished, but they are adding a place 2 doors away, for more seating area. I would give this place 3.8 stars. Its good but not amazing. Just a fun place to go with nice flavourful food. And then lastly: I asked the chef how he prepared the cauliflower. It included honey. Debate blah blah blah… I would eat insects for moral reasons but the honey industry isn’t very great for the environment we live in so i don’t eat it.

Wonderfull - Edit
It's a small family restaurant. You should make sure to have a place reserved before hand. And that some things might already be gone from the menu. But you could arrange to get some alternative options.

Would not go there again - Edit
Went there for lunch on a Saturday and was disappointed. We were told what was and was not available, which were a lot of dishes that were on the menu. The waiter got impatient as not everyone remembered correctly. Ordered the mezze which was ok but nothing special. I think the others liked their food when they were able to order after some fuss. Did not like the vibe and we left asap, but to be fair it was raining and the restaurant was almost empty which probably contributed to my sentiment. Checked to see if I had been at the right place because they have so many good reviews, here and on other websites. Three stars because the food was not bad and in the end they made a dish from the menu for my friends that at first was not available.

Disappointed in the service - Edit
Maybe we were unlucky, but we are quite disappointed in the service. The waiter didn't seem to care much and provided a very slow service - while the restaurant was almost empty. Also, we were asked to move after sitting down 'as the table was for three people' (the table the waiter appointed to us, had exactly the same size).
Read moreAfterwards, it took quite a long time before we could order drinks and got those. When serving the drinks, the waiter said: 'today, we only serve the mezz. It's 90% vegetarian'. This is contradictory to the sticker on their window saying 'vegan friendly'. As we were already disappointed in the careless attitude of the waiter, we decided to not ask further and just pay for our drinks.
Perhaps we could have arranged something vegan if we would have asked further. Or we didn't understand the concept of 'mezz'. So maybe we were just unlucky with the waiter and his attitude, and should give it a try another time. That's why I give 3 stars instead of 1 or 2.

Amazing food! They have a full set menu for vegans and it has HEAPS of food and is really yum!!! €27 each. Make sure the dessert is vegan though - we got cow's milk ice cream, but they gave us vegan baklava on request! SO YUM.

Family-owned and you notice. They do everything for you, weren't even open yet, but opened early for us. Their kids came by and it's so lovely. They make everything themselves and it looks and tastes real good. Try their own icetea/lemonade!

nice place - Edit
Nice place but there was not much choice today. We asked for vegan mezzes but we got yoghurt maybe because one of us said she is a vegetarian and not vegan?
Read moreThe mezzes were tasteful but not that special. The bean spread was great. Humus and baba ganoush were fine.
I will give it a second try if there are more options. There were some problems with the kitchen today.

Great food, great service - Edit
When we arrived the kitchen was closing but they kept it open especially for us. When I told them I wanted to eat vegan they were very understanding and didn't appear clueless at all (like in some other restaurants, they don't even know what the word means). They didnt have a menu to choose from but they were very clear about what was to be served and the waiter was really kind, patient and understanding. We had a nice chat after we were done eating as well. The food was delicious and the portion size was plenty. I'm a pretty big eater so sometimes I find myself wanting more at restaurants, but they served us more than enough. Overall I'd rate this restaurant 5 stars if the app allowed it, their 4.9/5 stars on Facebook is not at all undeserved! Price was decent too. Around 33 bucks per person for a three course meal plus drinks. Great place. Had a good time here.
