Cheap, but weird food

The ladies working here did not speak English so I just ordered a random soup and a place of rice with mixed toppings.

The soup had a somewhat sour taste and the rice had fake meat with fake bones inside of it.

I love Vietnamese food, but could not appreciate this. 3 stars for the price, free tea and friendly ladies.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Not really tasty, Fake meat with fake bones

Cheap, tasty food near the train station.

Got served by the nice and friendly owner of the place. Got there after arriving in Danang by train, around 7am - it was already open. They had really good noodle soup - apparently the only choice for soups for breakfast. Also had super tasty banh mi. The bus stop for the Hoi An bus is just across the street which makes this an ideal stop if this is your route.

Absolutely delicious and authentic!

The food was great! It could not have been more delicious. We just ordered a mix plate which included all types of tofu and saitan they offer. It only costs 40k per person and includes a tasty vegetable soup.

Nice owner, no "menu"

We walked in for a meal, were greeted by a very friendly and chatty owner. Were given a rice dish with a bunch of faux meat and some veggies. 30k / plate. Full vegan as the family that runs it is Buddhist. Overall it was pretty good and for cheap, although I wouldn't necessarily call it a "restaurant". 3 or 4 tables.

Pros: Full Vegan Friendly owner

Cons: Limited choice

charged for expensive price..

I went here today reading some good user reviews, but I was charged 50K dong for one my Quang maybe as a foreigners price.
I feel a bit unhappy and don't recommend it.
I might become to unlike Vietnam...

Cons: expensive sometimes

Cheaper than cheap

Small family run spot with really simple but delicious food.
Only two options, rice or noodles with assorted greens and fake meat.
Also fresh mochi made in-house.

Pros: Super friendly staff, 15k dong for a meal.

Great little place, friendly owner

This is a great little place that offers a good selection of authentic Vietnamese Vegan Food. The Buddhist owner is very friendly and speaks some English. No menu as such, but the main dishes offered are shown on a board and also printed on a business card.

Their main specialty is 'Com Dia' (dishes of the day and rice); you can choose from a selection of veg dishes, mock meat and even a mock scrambled egg made from tofu (which is really good). A plate of this with rice is 15-20,000vnd (depending how many selections you choose). They also specialise in 'Banh Cuon'; steamed sheets of rice paper, stuffed with mock meat, wood-ear mushroom and crispy shallots, which is 20,000vnd for a big plateful; and Cao Lau (a famous Hoi An noodles dish) which I am a big fan of. Their version has a lovely tangy sauce, crispy tofu, mock meat and crunchy wontons, really yummy! Also 20,000vnd.

Pros: Great tasting authentic food, Cheap, Friendly owner speaks some English

Cons: Not in the centre of Da Nang
