Wonderful wetlands, plus cake!

We visited for the day on World Wetland Day on 2nd Feb, celebrating wetlands and the importance they hold for birds and other wildlife.

There was a vegan pasty (chickpea, cauliflower), 2 vegan cake options - chocolate brownie and chocolate cake. Both were nice enough and enjoyable but not amazing. Both could have been more chocolatey. All options were well marked and allergens listed. I also had a latte with oat milk, and I think they had other dairy free milk.

Nice cafe to sit and nice views over the wetlands with outdoor seating on the veranda. You can also take your coffee and cake and sit in the bird hides.

3* because there could be more vegan options (far more non-vegan cake and scone options than vegan).
