High end buffet - Edit
Picture one of those fancy, small plate restaurants where the server says "you should order 3 or 4 plates per person" and its expensive and not enough food. It's like that but an all you can eat buffet. The quality is incredible, lots of interesting dishes. And the staff is so friendly, they'll bring out fresh items to your table. Definitely pricy, but worth it if you're looking for more of an upscale meal. Loved it though

They have the buffet with these tiny plates, which you can keep grabbing from.

A drink is also included in the price, juice or a hot beverage.
Most of the things were really tasty and healthy, a lot of the food I’ve gotten here in China has been drowned in oil.
Service was fantastic, they were not hesitant to take their time to explain things to me even though it all had to be done through translation apps.

Read moreCe sont de petites portions ce qui permet de goûter tous les plats. Ils servent également un riz aux champignons, du tofu et une soupe. C'était délicieux. Il y a également des jus de mangue, de noix de cajou, d'épinard et d'hibiscus. Des desserts avec des fruits et des graines. Il manquerait juste un gâteau ou deux si on veut pinailler 😁🫣
N'hésitez pas ça vaut le coup. Ce n'est pas trop épicé !

As a rule I'd never go near places like this. I have a Scot's hearty disdain for quarter portions at double price, no matter how pretty they look on the plate, especially as more often than not, pretty is all you get.
Read moreThis place loves it's pretty, but it loves its taste even more. As most everything comes in chopstick sized bites, you can experiment freely and elegantly, and it is always a delight to find food prepped with care and knowing, as other reviews mention, the range and combinations here are exquisite. I was particularly impressed with the range of freshly made juices: mango, hibiscus & hawthorn, spinach, cashew milk.
All the dishes have English/ Chinese descriptions, and the rice is also wonderfully flavoured. Lots of unusual marinades, like peeled cherry tomatoes in sour plum juice, or pine shoots in spicy soy vinaigrette. Mushroom dumplings were the best I've found so far.
The clincher for me of course, is the all you can eat for 93 yuan. Doesn't matter how tiny the dish if you can have as many as you like! And believe me, when they're all this delightful, many it will be, and the staff are plainly happy to see you enjoy it too.
Definitely way above average experience on all counts.

One of the best restaurants in Dali old town serving beautifully plated small portions of a varied assortment of veggies, mushrooms, tofus - all paired to perfection with the right sauce and dips. Also serves juices, fried rice, healthy soups, dumplings and fruits to go with your meal.

Upscale buffet style restaurant. At 93RMB per person, we thought it was well-priced given the amount of work that should go into preparing all the different varieties of small plates. It was delicious and the price also included unlimited drinks. I loved the yam milk one.

Personal muy majo. Al principio te traen un montón de platos de tamaño diminuto, después tú puedes ir y repetir de los que quieras. Sin embargo, en nuestro caso solo pudimos repetir de los que había que no eran muchos, por lo que tampoco es buffet estrictamente. Está bien si quieres algo especial, pero tampoco nos pareció algo excelente.

It's a high end buffet for 86 RMB per person. Small portions are brought to your table and you can eat as much as you want. Almost everything tastes good including drinks and food. It's worth a try.

We chose this place as we were hungry, it was the closest to us and I'm so glad we did. We were warmly greeted & shown to the dining room upstairs, no sooner had we sat down than two trays appeared filled with 12 small dishes, the aesthetic was fantastic. We were brought 2 glasses of juice, none of which we'd said a single word to get, it was quite incredible. We were brought a bamboo pot of rice each, which was delicious, & a pot of soup. All the dishes were unique, we were brought 4 more small dishes & our drinks were refilled. What an amazing fun & delicious experience all for 86rmb each! Go here, you won't regret it.

If you are in Dali ancient town looking for vegetarian fare, be sure to check this place out. Inexpensive and lots of variety to please everyone. I tried using apple maps to get here based on the Happy Cow navigation. Keep going until you find number 93 because the GPS may stop you down the street. When you do find it, the restaurant is well marked and says vegetarian on it. Happy eating!

So freaking many choices, most of them really good, which frankly really surprised me coming to a small touristy city. This place was the bomb, you should try everything. You will leave stuffed. The service was also great.

We went for dinner and tried so many new dishes. Everything beautifully displayed, and in single servings. The staff were kind and generous, continually bringing us more new small dishes to sample. Delicious fruit juices served in tall wine glasses. We paid 86 rmb for one person, all you can eat and drink. A steal, in my opinion.
