Quite nice!

Sad that this place is just vegetarian and not all vegan.

They have quite a few vegan options clearly marked as such. There are grain bowls, flats, salads, soups and desserts.

I had the Banh Mi bowl and it was very nice. The portion size was decent. A bit too salty for my taste but bearable. The prices are reasonable- to be honest I was expecting it to be more expensive since it’s Montclair!

The place itself is very spacious and there is a restroom. I will definitely come back to try more things.

Thank you so much for the thoughtful review -- and photos! We're really glad you enjoyed the Banh Mi Bowl and appreciated the variety of clearly marked vegan options. We’ll take note of your comment about the salt—flavor balance is important to us, and feedback like yours helps us keep improving.

While worldFLATS is a vegetarian and vegan restaurant, we’re continuing to grow our vegan offerings—currently, about 80% of our menu can be made fully vegan. We’re glad you found options you enjoyed and hope to welcome you back soon to try even more!

World flavors under one roof!

Worldflats was a great place to stop for lunch. It is a completely vegetarian restaurant with vegan options clearly labeled. Their food choices include flavors from Greece, India, Italy, Thailand, Mexico and the Middle East which you pick to have as a salad, a grain bowl or on a lavash flatbread. They also have soups and desserts.

My daughter had the Nile Full Flat which was falafel with shredded lettuce, spicy pickles and tahini dressing on a lavash flat bread. I went with the Bahn Mi (grain) bowl. Each bowl starts with a base of brown rice, quinoa and sorghum. My Bahn Mi bowl was then topped with red beans, shredded cabbage, carrot, mushrooms, cucumber, pickled red cabbage, scallion, cilantro, sesame seeds with a spicy vegan sriracha mayo. All the flavors worked together and the bowl was delicious! We even shared some vegan chocolate cookies for dessert!

Pros: Incredibly flavorful food, Fresh and fast, Many vegan options

Cons: No designated parking
