Great burgers and mayo and aioli - Edit
I had really liked the Wise Boys mayo I'd bought at Commonsense Organics, Mt. Eden, and looked at the Wise Boys Facebook page to see where their burger truck would be...went to University of Auckland Alfred Street courtyard on a particular Thursday (10 am-2 pm) and had their Moroccan burger, which was delicious – patty made of kumara and carrot with fixings, aioli and a toasted bun, $13. There were two other burgers on offer (beet-bean and tofu) and fries for $5.

Onion rings are amazing, so are the sauces. The milkshakes left something to be desired, and the smash burger Patties were reminiscent of veggie patties but it was still super good. Have I mentioned the onion rings?

I love there are vegetarian burger places now. I'm a big vege burger eater so was looking forward to this. We had one of the chicken burgers and a classic. They were nice but didn't blow me away. Maybe it was an off day.

Wise Boys Burgers delivers phenomenal vegan junk food! We devoured The Dirty Boy (with extra onion rings!) and the Spicy Buffalo Chick'n with BBQ Jackfruit Loaded Fries. Both were rich, loaded with flavor, and exactly the kind of satisfyingly delicious junk food you crave.!

I'm not the biggest burger fan but I LOVE the burgers here, and very reasonably priced. The Dirty Boy (smash patty, cheese, onion rings, facon, bbq sauce, aioli) and Chickn Deluxe (chikn, cheese, facon, grilled pineapple, salad, onion relish, chipotle aioli) were both tasty and had lots of different textured components. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the rice paper bacon, it was chewy so almost impossible to bite off a piece.

I left the cookies in the fridge for a few days before eating them, I imagine they would have been amazing fresh (especially with the Whittakers chocolate pieces in them). They were pretty pricey though.

Great options for American style burgers - Edit
I loved how many options there were, their onion rings & sauces were great and the shakes looked really yummy even though I didn’t get one! I was a little disappointed with the burger itself, but I don’t really like American style/processed burgers. If I did it would have been great. Again, I think it’s more me and my preferences than the food itself, but I was surprised there wasn’t a more veggie Pattie based fresher option.

Ordered the wise boys burger and thought it was one of the best vegan burgers I have ever had. The patty was simply delicious and paired with the vegetables and homemade sauce it was perfect. I only regret I do not have enough time in Auckland to try out the other burgers on the menu

I come to this place to eat delicious plant based burgers, because reviews was really good from a lot of people. Me and my wife ordered 2 different burgers with 2 different fries. First taste of fries was poor, fries was a bit overcooked and semi-cold (we eat right away at the place), burger was super fat, everything was full of sauce, I couldn't tell what was the patty, because all I can taste was fat sauce. I was a disappointed. After this kind of meal, my body was craving something to "drink off" that fat taste from my mouth. Positive sides: burger bun really delicious. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Everything else - big disappointment. Only 2 stars, because I see only 2 good things I mentioned above. No anger or hate! :)
