WOW

Wanted to come here for the longest time for their Green Michelin Star (for sustainability) and as of a couple of months ago they also now have a (regular) Michelin star! 🌟 our first experience of a Michelin restaurant was so special - we did the lunch menu for £35 which says it’s 3 courses but you get 6 (a few of them are just smaller) - you only miss out on two from the full 8 course menu for under half the price. Everything was absolutely delicious and so full of flavour, especially the sunflower seed whipped spread and the mushroom/linseed bite things which were our favourites! But everything was incredible and amazing value for money. A wonderful experience and a new special occasion staple 💚

Great tasting food, but

The vegan menu costs the same as the meat menus. Tbh the taste is amazing, but the vegan menu is just vegetables - it's hard to understand why I pay the same as a meat eater. With that being said, their lunch menu is delicious and is £25. I especially enjoyed the first dish: beetroot in a seaweed cup with cashew cream. The bread that they bake in the next door bakery is also amazing and fresh. The flavours are well thought-out and creative.

I see why they have a Michelin Green Star, but it'll be more enjoyable if the pricing reflected the value of the ingredients. The vegan menu didn't contain lots of protein, so meat eaters at my table came out fuller than me.

Pros: Caters to all dietary requirements, Delicious and high quality

Cons: Vegan menu same price as meat menu, Vegan menu doesn't have lots of protein
