Jacked - Edit
Rather than the usual: a single veggie burger as the only vegan option at a pub, this place has bbq jackfruit tacos and a sandwich! Both were good but would’ve been improved by adding some pickled cabbage on top. Instead we got a side of the bbq sauce and the whiskey mustard.

Unearthing Vegan Treasures at William Oliver’s - Edit
FIVE STARS! As a seasoned vegan food critic with a penchant for uncovering hidden gems in the culinary world, I am delighted to share my latest discovery: William Oliver's in Windsor Colorado. This establishment has quickly ascended to the top of my list of favorites, and for good reason.
Read moreFor those acquainted with my extensive global vegan culinary escapades, it’s well known that truly standout vegan options can be elusive. Often, we vegans are resigned to the usual suspects: grilled vegetables, tofu Banh Mi (could one please create something truly unique with this one?... PLEASE???), and the ubiquitous non-French fries—uninspiring to say the least. But William Oliver's defies this norm with their inventive, from-scratch vegan offerings, each dish brimming with flavor and originality.
Let me begin with the pièce de résistance: the Vegan Chili. This is not just any chili; this is the apotheosis of vegan chili, a 5-star creation that has set a new benchmark. Each spoonful is a symphony of spices, a heavenly concoction that left me in awe. It is, without exaggeration, the best vegan chili I have ever had the pleasure of tasting worldwide, and I've experimented with many.
Next, the Vegan BBQ Jackfruit Sandwich deserves special mention. Jackfruit, often relegated to the mundane, is transformed here into a mouthwatering delight. The sandwich is simple in appearance but explodes with flavor upon the first bite, sending rainbows and shooting stars across the palate. I only wish I had exercised more self-control to capture a photo before devouring it. Pro tip: ask for extra BBQ sauce, crafted in-house elevating your experience to new heights.
William Oliver's also caters to non-vegan diners with a plethora of enticing options. The ambiance is convivial, featuring games for a fun-filled visit with family and friends. On those picturesque Colorado days, the outdoor patio provides the perfect setting to enjoy your meal.
In conclusion, William Oliver's earns a resounding 5 out of 5 on all counts. Be sure to say hello to the team; Cole, Todd, Kim, Moon, and Charlie, sharing the best in customer service, conversation, just simply wonderful human beings making your visit the very best and most memorable it can be. Tell them Seth sent you.
Suggestion to the talented epicurean scientists at WO; consider a vegan dessert. (Wink)
When in Windsor, CO, also noting another location close by in Fort Collin's, CO, to visit William Oliver's is an absolute must.
Well done!
