Great V Sausage Roll

2 or 3 vegan options on their menu and everything quite well labeled and plus a variety of plant milks. I got the vegan sausage roll for a fiver and it was amazing and full of flavor!

Friendly service & delicious food

Visited the food truck they're running during COVID restrictions. The service was phenomenal - staff are really friendly and knowledgeable with a genuine interest in the food their serving. Multiple vegan options both in terms of lunches and treats. Would highly recommend their take on a peanut butter cup - delicious!

*****

This place deserves 5 stars! Wonderful location overlooking Carlingford Lough. Walking distance to Carlingford town. Restricted hours. Several vegan items on the menu - chilli, tacos, soup, cakes. We had the daily special which was also vegan. Rainbow salad, rice, guacamole, salsa and chilli with soup and infused water. Plenty of free tap water too. Amazing sweets. I had a matcha lime slice with a pumpkin seed base and cashews and pistachios meant it didn't taste too nutty. Three quarters of the sweets were vegan, see my picture of the beautiful sweet counter. Could not fault this place. Everything seems to be made on site with care. Will definitely be back.

Pros: Tasty, Many options, Wonderful location

Cons: Restricted hours

Great find for this little town!

Lentil Tacos were chock full of tasty lentils and vegan salad. Three other Salads including couscous on the plate— I was not disappointed. The view is fantastic. It’s a bit of a walk easy uphill from the village but unless you only want to eat “chips” in the village there are no other options. Wish I had room to try the vegan desserts but our ride was waiting. They have non vegan options for your non veg friends too.

Pros: Great volume of food, Great view

Cons: A little pricy 14 euro for tacos

Fantastic Lunch

We visited Wildwood Cafe yesterday for lunch and were very pleasantly surprised. The staff were very helpful and friendly, menu had lots of vegan options and food was tasty and fresh. We had our dog Archie with us but the weather was not ideal for outdoor dining so they very kindly showed us a sizable hut outside and let us dine there. We ordered vegan sushi to start which was great, followed by the portobello mushroom burger and the chilli non carne - both were filling and flavoursome. It was only 30€ overall which was super reasonable. We should have ordered dessert too as the cakes looked so good! Would have given it five stars if I could - we'll definitely be back again!
