Year-round Saturday morning marketplace with vendors selling fresh produce as well prepared foods. Outside Sedgefield adjacent to Swartvlei lake-lagoon. Open Sat 8:00am-12:00pm.
This is the place to go for fresh vegetables, baked goods, chocolates and treats, and brunch on a Saturday morning. Bring your own coffee mug and cutlery, this is a space open to reducing waste. The earlier the better, people come from far and wide to enjoy this weekend experience! After you have eaten and shopped your fill, you can move on to the other two markets next door for homemade soap, art, clothing, and much more.
Such a lovely market and well worth a visit. Lots of fruit and veg stalls. And to top it off a great vegan stall. I had the hot dog which was unbelievable. Would of wanted to try everything on offer!
With a range of lovely fresh produce, homemade jams and treats, dairy-free coffee and a number of vegan options available, this market really impressed me - I wasn’t expecting as much from a small town like Sedgefield! It’s set in a gorgeous spot underneath the trees and there are recycling options on-site and visitors are encouraged to bring their own eco mugs and bags too.
