Islington branch of this plant-based restaurant in London opened in 2019. It features an open kitchen and a wood-fired pizza oven, and serves a large variety of dishes with many being raw-friendly. Example of menu options include the wild green burger, king oyster scallops, carbonara pasta, a selection of elevated pizzas plus rainbow cheezecake and raw chocolate tart. Weekend brunch features pancakes, lattes, and a full breakfast plate. THI BRANCH SHUT DOWN PER ITS FB MESSAGE.

Pricey and not many options - Edit
Visited at Saturday lunchtime with my family, we noticed that they didn't have any raw options, even though advertised through happycow
Read moreThe waitress pointed out at a couple of dishes identifying then as raw, but wasn't aware that quinoa needs to be cooked. Also they no longer serve the burger.
We ordered a starter and for main pizza, a raw version of a salad with cooked items removed and pancake.
Apparently the pizza and pancake were good, the salad variation was mediocre at best. Since the prices were already quite high, I expected much better and felt disappointed.
Plates weren't removed after and table cleaned slowly, dessert menu wasn't brought as requested.
However the manager was very pleasant and took on board the feedback, she seemed to want to know how to improve. I changed my one star to three because of her attitude and response. She brought the pistachio dessert, and loose teas. The cake was really nice.
When I return, I will hope for better, will review next time.
Pros: Nice venue
Cons: Very expensive, Menu not clear, No raw options

Good and beautiful food in London - Edit
I've been to Wild Food Cafe in Neals Yard and then the one in Islington several times.
Read moreThe food is delicious and the cakes very beautiful, and I like the nutritional approach of Joel and Aiste Gazdar.
Last time we went there, we shared pizzas and were not disappointed by the flavours.
Their take on the cauliflower nuggets is quite successful as well.
Pros: Values, Flavours, Originality

Quality food - Edit
This is nice restaurant with plenty of tables and attractively decorated. The food was well made and of good quality. I struggled a bit with the menu as it’s very mushroom heavy and I can’t abide mushrooms... but there were a couple of things I could have. It’s not cheap...... but the meat eater I took liked the food, so that’s always good.

Go for the dessert and pizza - Edit
The restaurant itself is lovely looking, friendly staff, but in all honesty the burger bun was not the greatest and the burger patty was a bit tasteless, came with a small amount of chips... it's dissapointing because it may put off a meat eater, have them think vegan food is tasteless and that is tragic... the pizza my partner had was tasty and large for one person, great! and the banoffee pie we shared was incredible, so ritch...

All vegan, gluten free options - Edit
The restaurant is not far from Highbury and Islington and larger than one might expect from the outside. Nice decor; modern and upscale but not formal. Service was great. Cocktails and also mocktails. Portions are moderate. Personally, I wasn’t a fan of the low temperature burger. They did tell us ahead of time and it was worth a try but it’s not really for me. Food is nicely presented. Expensive.

Saw friends here for lunch. I’ve been here a couple of times before and knew this place is always reliable and very tasty. On Sunday the options are completely different but we basically shared everything there. Mainly brunch options - everything as usual very delicious and tasty.

Not as good as the one in Covent Garden - Edit
We had the burger and one pizza. Burger was nice, pizza arrived a bit burnt so we had it changed. Pizza was not so impressive anyway. Service was excellent friendly and super fast. However for the money we paid and knowing the the other wild food cafe, I was expecting more.

GF, Plant-based ❤️❤️❤️ - Edit
I had the Wakami salad and the pesto flat bread with a golden latte. Salad was great; loads of interesting flavours, colours and textures and the flatbread was so delicious that I checked and double-checked it was GF and it was, with some good protein flours in, as well. Will definitely be back, hope this restaurant does well! (Worth reading the ‘About’ section on their website to see their food philosophy)

Pretty good. - Edit
Firstly anywhere that is vegan, gluten free and organic is amazing for me. I had the burger and it was really tasty. The kale chips however are just a bit too rich for me. I missed not having potato or sweet potato fries as an option. I'm all for healthy but surely there's a way to do something like this in a healthy way. I was left still hungry. But like I say the burger (which I had cooked, but you can also have raw) and the bun were very tasty. The bun tastes like Bao and I was saying they should make Bao buns!! I'm longing for Vegan, Gluten Free Bao!!
Read moreMy friend had the classic italian Pizza (or it was called something like this). She found it very oily and a bit tasteless. Which was sad. We also had the mushroom 'scallop' starter, which I would recommend.
Would like to try more, but would be slightly reluctant because for the price point they need to get these things right.
Pros: All vegan, all gluten free and all organic.
Cons: Pricey.
