90% of the pastries are vegan - Edit
Loved that most of the pastries were vegan, although it did make it difficult to choose. The classic pain au chocolat was definitely a favourite.

Excellent roast - Edit
British Patagonia has a nice, clean, wooden interior and is a nice place to sit and eat a meal. It's not fully vegan but on Sundays they serve roasts and they're all plant based!
Read moreWe went for both of the options – Beef Wellington and Roasted Chicken Pieces. Both were excellent! The Wellington was a hefty slice of Juicy Marbles meat wrapped in a crispy flaky pastry. The roast potatoes were soft and crispy, the Yorkshire pudding had a lovely soft chewy texture and all the veggies were so flavoursome! The roasted chicken pieces were the brand THIS and they were tasty but I would go for the Wellington if I could only pick one. It was all so delicious and I would definitely go back to have it again!
We also got the sourdough with chimichurri butter starter and that was also really good. The sourdough was soft and warm and so tasty with the butter.
We also got a Ferrero Rocher Crown from the pastry selection and it was tasty but not as good as I was expecting. The pastry was soft and very tasty and I enjoyed the cream but I would say it was just a sweet flavour and I wouldn't say it tasted like Ferrero Rocher. I think I just expected it to have a more distinctive flavour rather than just being sweet, but it was still good.

Pros: Fully plant-based Sunday roast menu, Delicious roast, Most of their pastries are vegan
Cons: I thought the Ferrero Rocher crown would be better

Best Pain Au Chocolat I ever had - Edit
Wish I could give this place 5 stars cause it totally deserves it. I had a pain su chocolat and the granola bowl with blueberries blueberry compote and homemade granola. The pastry was flaky and buttery (!!) and the granola bowl balanced it out haha. Great tasting coffee in cute enamel cups too which five the place a bit of an outdoorsy feeling. Excellent service by the owner . Will come back!

Choices! - Edit
I cannot believe I have only just discovered this place is here! Lots of vegan options to choose from. Friendly and welcoming staff. Good atmosphere. Had the avocado on toast which may sound basic but which was absolutely delicious. My omni daughter has the vegan granola bowl and was just as impressed.

An amazing spot with so much variety. I was in a rush (and already stuffed) so couldn’t try much but the pistachio cream pastry was the best vegan baked good I ever had. And a non-vegan friend had the chocolate croissant and commented how delicate and delicious the pastry was, despite usually being trepidatious of vegan baked goods.

Loads of vegan options - Edit
A huge amount of vegan options. The croissant was delicious, and I was also very happy with the sandwich (great combo of vegan “chickn” / “brie cheese” / cranberry jam and also super filling).

Nice food limited dessert options - Edit
Pretty much all the food options had a vegan alternative and the food was delicious but the downside was the fact that there was only one vegan options available which ruined the dinner.

Amazing pastries, why isnt it fully vegan? - Edit
I know it’s vegan idealism to want everywhere to be fully plant based, but when most of the pastries and many of the menu items are vegan, taste amazing, why not go full send and stop exploiting animals?

Delicious vegan Sunday roast - Edit
The Sunday roast is very special - it comes with a beef wellington made of juicy marbles (or roast chicken which I didn’t try), sprouts, maple carrots and cabbage, roast potatoes and cauliflower cheese. The serving is generous and everything was very tasty. Sadly there was no room for dessert but the tiramisu balls sounded delicious!

Best vegan croissant I’ve ever had! - Edit
By far, hands down the best pistachio croissant from this very busy high street bakery. Easy to reach from Islington tube. Coffee was good and the cups are cute which you can buy if you feel like taking a souvenir. Also first time here? Scan the qR code Write a review and coffee is on the house! Nice touch British Patagonia!

A must visit in London! You wouldn't believe that the pastries are (mostly) vegan. Ignore the price, it's absolutely worth it.
Read moreI got a croissant and a oat hot chocolate. The croissant was easily the best vegan croissant I've ever eaten. The crunchy layers, the sweet glaze, the softer middle? DIVINE. The hot chocolate was also distinct with a rich yet sweet flavour.
My friend got a cinnamon roll and some kind of coffee. She isn't vegan so I'm not sure if that is vegan but she absolutely loved it. She said the coffee was outstanding with a beautiful flavour.
I'll definitely visit again next time I'm in London! This may be my new breakfast spot.
Pros: Variety of vegan pastries, Friendly staff, It's delicious. Trust me. Just go.

Yummy sweet tooth pleaser - Edit
Even my partner was drooling and devouring the home made pistachio ice cream. At 5:45 they had sold out of almost all the pastries. Most things are vegan here but not quite everything. We loved the strawberry sorbet too. We weren’t crazy about the cinnamon bun as it seemed too dry but maybe I’m used to more Cinnabon type cinnamon rolls. This was more Scandinavian style. We are coming back and making sure to come earlier in the day to try more treats.
