Best place in Antwerpen - Edit
It was so good! Writing this review makes me want to back. We had a lovely evening at Wild Project.
Read moreWe tried a few of their tapas (fritatta, smoked eggplant with tahini sauce, foccacina, rissoto, tomato and basil ice-cream, fig ice-cream) and it was delicious all the way. The strong Italian influence is very nice, but their cooking also has an oriental twist (with lots a tahini!).
They also have a very good selection of wines!
Pros: Amazing food, Good wine selection, Friendly staff

Vegan & innovative ideas but very pricy - Edit
The interior is very cozy and the staff was nice. If you like appetizers and want to try something new, this is the place for you. But if you are very hungry like us and want to go home with your stomach filled you might be disappointed by the portion sizes.
Read moreWe ordered the grilled cucumbers (8€) which we loved and the grilled fennel with risotto and the gnocchis (both 14€) which were small in size and not very well seasoned. It tasted very basic to me, the fennel was basically raw.
I hate to give vegan restaurants a "bad" review, but I was really disappointed, because this resaturant was recommended to me very often.
The Wild Project has also a Café in Antwerp, called Go Wild, which had cinnamon buns and cake that were delicious. The staff was also very nice.

Very thoughtfully made food which was delicious. They buy their ingredients seasonally, so the menu always changes. Definitely make a reservation before you go!

Een revelatie! - Edit

Excellent Vegan food - Edit
Small cosy vegan spot with excellent food. Sometimes the choice is difficult so we took the discovery menu which is an excellent choice to taste a bit of everything.
Read moreThe place is not so big, reservation required, easy to do online, the only downside is that if you reserve for 18h in the evening, there is a second service and you are required to leave the table 2 hours later.
Pros: Good Vegan food, Cosy place, Easy reservation
Cons: Little time pressure for early evening reservation

You have to go there! - Edit
The food at Wild Project is sooo gooood! They serve their food "tapas-style", you order several dishes and share them. We couldn't decide on what to eat, and they have a great option for that, "carte blanche". This means that they choose the dishes for you. We were then served 5 different dishes: a chickpea-pancake, a fennel-risotto, fried sweetheart cabbage, bellpepper with polenta, and a dish with shitake and broccoli... This may sound rather boring, but every dish was an experience and truly unique! Well-seasoned and with tasty sauces. The price was 22 € each and unfortunately I was so full afterwards that I couldn't try any of their desserts...
Read moreNext time I would rather choose 3-4 dishes for 2 people and leave some room for dessert...

First time we visited this place after we heard much positive feedback about it.
Read moreThe concept is food sharing, like with tapas. We took the carte blanche to have à surprise😄everything was top notch, lots of different veggies, spices, creams,... We enjoyed it very much. The drinks were also very refreshing and the dessert very tasty. We're coming back here, no doubt.

Tapas were only okay. With a little bit of more imagination and seasoning they could have been superb. Desserts we’re lovely though, and I enjoyed the natural wine we had. Nice atmosphere and good service.

They have lots of small dishes to share (like tapa's), which I think is amazing because this way you discover so many new tastes and combinations, it gave me inspiration! Excellent food - Edit
Went there for dinner. Tried pretty much 6 of the 8 dish on offer and shared with friends (tapas style). Seasonal products, tasty sauces (that veganaise was one of my favorites!), great service, and fast. My favorite was the spinach chickpea flour pancakes, OMG! For dessert we wanted the chocolate cake but they had run out - we went for a slice of the dates/walnuts/coffee tart and it was so good we had to order an other one!

Great place, real food, - Edit
Me and my wife keep coming back to this place! The staff is amazingly friendly. The food is delicious & real.
Read moreEven the lemonades are homemade here. Don't forget to order desert in this place!!
I guess "Real food" requires an explanation here: Except from the ingredients which are 100% plant based and organic the chef serves a lot of Italian specialties. These specialty dished are hard to make in vegan style because the original recepis often requires cheese or meat. The chef is a master in making these dished taste like home for non-vegan italian food lovers as well. This means that this is an ideal place to take your non vegan friends!
Yes, this food has brought tears to my eyes! The (meat eating) parents love it as well!.
Pros: Staff, Setting , Autenticity
Cons: Need reservation, No Lunch
