Read moreWhat's with the blue recycling bins at every register, your receipts aren't recyclable. Lame! Wholefoods has always sold similar crap as others, but deceptively uses presentation to manipulate the perception of a higher quality. This place used to have organic food; kind and happy staff.
It's like a completely different company now going from almost acceptable in the 70's and 80's to completely pathetic. Now: miserable rude foul-mouthed-baked uninformed staff, tasteless GMO hot bar "food" with no plant based labels, no organic bread from the in-house bakery, produce sprayed with antibacterial wash that's heavily waxed...
At least before the Amazon-Google-Monopoly merged with Wholefoods their was an emphasis on employee satisfaction. Now its all about efficiency over humanity. The workers look like depressed humanoid robots on the verge of an emotional breakdown.
A balanced manager considers the importance of auspicious relational planning and quality of work life. It's only about profits now, not even caring about nourishing bodies; ignoring what pesticides and genetically modified foods does to a persons lifespan. Cancer is #1 cause of childhood death now, it used to be accidents.
Workers are treated with no value. It makes me sick to hear the tone of voice and attitudes of wholefoods managers (most locations) when communicating with staff: heartless and talking down to them.
Good luck not breathing in or being directly sprayed on with non-biodegradable cleaners if you want to eat at a table. We need more lawyers to start suing corporations for causing cancer and hiding natural hygiene truths...
Just like the food here that poisons consumers- Jeff Bezos The Clown has destroyed Wholefoods completely. Anyone that implements this evil business plan should share in the bad karma.
Whole foods executives should be thrown in prison for life for causing so much dis-ease to this humanity. FU Wholefoods!

Heavy police presence here. Police harass customers shopping carrying a backpack. : follow you around the store and gossip. No longer uses organic flour in bakery just GMO. Mostly GMO salad bar. Mostly GMO prepared foods. Pick your pocket, get poisoned, over pay, and get harassed by Boulder Cops with an IQ below 90. O soldy car to live a no waste lifestyle and Boulder Police treat me like a criminal homeless person now. Vegan options are terrible now BC the ingredients are skimpy and GMO. Employees constantly spraying non biodegradable cancer causing chemicals onto tables from ten feet away.

Grocery stores with this much vegan food deserve a medal - Edit
I love Whole Foods. This location, in particular, gets two big thumbs up from me for their wide selection of vegan items. The hot bar usually has several vegan options that are always delicious, and you may even be lucky enough to snag a vegan breakfast sandwich/burrito and/or some vegan donuts if you get there early enough! The bakery also serves some vegan pastries and desserts. I'm a big sucker for donuts and the ones they put out are awesome.

With the addition of this whole new section, this WF is one of the largest (if not the largest) in the country, and it can get crowded. It's also not super cheap. But if you're a vegan, this is your largest selection of specialty products in town, as well as a good place for a dine-in meal. They have any sort of veggie 'meat' product you'd want, as well as vegan versions of mayonnaise, cream cheese, sour cream, cheese, etc. Huge selection of organic vegan products. The new prepared food section also has a number of little restaurant counters, most with several vegan options, and some really good stuff at the buffet, but it's by weight and can get really expensive. Their produce is also somewhat more expensive than a standard supermarket chain's, but you can taste the difference.

This is a nice Whole Foods - it seemed like they had more of the little food station/restaurants inside compared to other WFM's too, or maybe they just offered different things. An employee highly recommended the vegan chocolate cupcake and a vegan jam thumbprint (both made in house), but they were actually horrible. With that said, I do not recommend their baked goods. They did carry many vegan items though, and the stuff offered at the little restaurant stations looked very good.

I LOVE this Whole Foods. It is my primary grocery store. It is more expensive than King Soopers etc but if you shop regularly using their coupons and waiting for sales on the things you use most often, it's not too bad.

*Vegan pizza by the slice at the pizza counter! They used to use Follow Your Heart cheese but recently I've seen them using Daiya. (They also sell bags of Daiya in the dairy case alongside the other vegan cheeses. Score!)
*Brown rice veggie sushi
*A variety of soy yogurt flavors
*A Middle Eastern grab and go box in the cold case with hummus, stuffed grape leaves, couscous, and nice thick pita bread
*Thai tofu spring rolls with peanut sauce in the cold case
*At least one kind of vegan cake slice (also, Sweet and Sara marshmallows) in the grab and go desert case
*Vegan blueberry muffins and cookies in the bakery case by the express line registers
*A variety of vegan frozen convenience foods like Amy's meals and Amy's mini vegan carmelized onion pizza, Rising Sun vegan manicotti, and EVOL vegan burritos
They also have a good selection of vegan "meats" in the cold case and freezer sections, and more organic produce than you might think.
Pros: HUGE selection, Clean, bright store, Lots of express cashiers

Tons of fresh stuff, all organic. They have many vegetarian and meat options, a salad bar, a nice deli w/tofu and other vegi options. The salad bar is priced high as well. Plan on over $10 for a lunch sized salad.
Read moreIf whole foods would just get real with their pricing, I would shop there for groceries (instead of an occasional lunch). Around here, Vitamin cottage in Boulder or Lafayette is great, or the FANTASTIC new Sprouts that just opened in Westminster.
