Vegan items are marked on menu, including smoothie bowl, mixed grain porridge with rhubarb and ginger compote, build your own breakfast (including vegan sausage), and sticky teriyaki tofu. Kitchen operates 8:30am-4pm. Coffee and cake available until 5pm. Open Mon-Sun 08:30-16:00.

A nice enough spot for a relaxed brunch in Rye. - Edit
Popped into The Whitehouse for brunch — while they only have one or two vegan options on the menu, the staff are friendly and accommodating, and it seems possible to mix and match a bit. I had the green plate, which was really tasty, and the fresh juices were nice.

The staff were lovely and accommodating. The menu is however a let down, especially for the price. The vegan option simply entailed removing the feta rather than replacing it. Left hungry. Great coffee.

Pleasant brunch - Edit
We had the avocado toast with mushroom side and potato and sweet potato hash side. We requested the sides even though they were not listed in the menu. The mushrooms were quite nice! We also had an orange carrot ginger juice which was delicious!

Poor for vegans - Edit
I must have been there on a bad day. Nothing vegan available. Not even soya milk. Almond milk in tea just doesn't do it!
