The best vegan soft serve I’ve tried - Edit
Creamy and not too sweet with a range of topping/flavor combos available or you can build your own. Prices are the same as any other ice cream joint in the city

Creative! - Edit
A case of quality over quantity options wise, which is okay by me!

Nice ice cream - Edit
Nice whipped ice cream place. Cashless I believe. I do think I expected more options though. But can’t complain as it was great for a warm evening.

Creative, Delicious and 'Affordable' - Edit
Nice and very creative desserts with ice cream that you can pay (even if it's not a big amount). Everything is vegan and it seems the owners are black. Lots of reasons to go to

Favorite ice cream ever! - Edit
I've been vegan my whole life. This is my FAVORITE ice cream I've ever had. I come here all the time. The staff is so friendly and kind. I always appreciate how they check if anyone has allergies and make sure to wipe down everything to prevent cross-contamination. The cone...the cup...the cookie sundae...you can't go wrong! It's a bit expensive, so it's definitely a sometimes-treat.

Exactly what I was looking for - Edit
It was so creamy and smooth. I've had vegan soft serve at other places where it was grainy, but there was no indication of that at all.

Still speechless - Edit
The ice cream was perfect and they make it up just right. You can choose your creamy delicious base flavor. I chose a waffle cone with chocolate base with pretzels, peanut butter and chocolate sauce. They put the sauce in the cone before serving the ice cream then they perfectly patted the pretzles on the soft serve, and drizzle more chocolate sauce and peanut butter sauce on top. It wasn’t too much, it was just right and SO GOOD. I already want to go back again.

Sweet cool treat - Edit
I got the cinnamon apple crisp and it was good, nothing tasted off, perfect sweetness, though I think I would try something with chocolate sauce next time. A little pricey for the quantity, but typical for a big city. I went mid-afternoon on a weekday, and it was not crowded. They have posh decor, but it's small space, with only a couple seats inside, and a handful more outside. It's best to plan to take it to go. Staff was very friendly.

Best vegan soft serve - Edit
There is plenty of vegan ice cream options in NYC, but this is one of the best. Soft serve flavors are classic vanilla and chocolate (or twist) with lots of topping and sauce choices along with signature mixes. I got coffee crunch (vanilla soft serve with waffle cone bits and coffee sauces). Everything is 100% vegan and the counter staff proactively inquired about food allergies as each customer ordered.
Read morePros: Delicious , Soft, airy texture , Lots of options
Cons: There was a bit of a line on a summer Saturday

Yummy vegan soft serve - Edit
My boyfriend and I were looking for dessert after spending the day in Brooklyn, and we ended up coming back into Manhattan to a tiny little ice cream place on the Lower East Side. Orchard Street is crowded with shops and restaurants, and we're always up for vegan ice cream on a summer evening. You order at a kiosk and can get a pre-set cone or make your own, deciding between chocolate soft serve, sweet creme (a vanilla type flavor), or a swirl. We got the S'more's cone (made with a Dandies vegan marshmallow) and the Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel, which I liked more than the S'more's (I think it could have used some chocolate sauce). So we switched. But they were both really tasty.
Read moreThere's not much room inside the UDL; they also limit the number of guests inside, I guess to keep it from getting too warm. There is, however, seating outside so you can sit and enjoy your cone. Oh, and did I mention they use waffle cones? It's the first time I've seen vegan waffle cones, so I couldn't be more thrilled.
I'll definitely have to come back the next time I'm in New York.
Pros: All vegan , Creative cones
Cons: Small space with limited seating

Amazing - Edit
One of the best vegan ice creams I've tried, such a surprise finding this in NYC since most of the ice cream vegan options I found there were sorbets.

Some of the best vegan ice cream! - Edit
I absolutely love the ice cream here! The strawberry shortcake is the best flavor by far. The staff is friendly and the area is nice. There is sometimes a long line in evening or weekends. I prefer to get the cup because it does get messy and you have to use the spoon to eat it

Worth a visit - Edit
This place is definitely urban. I recommend just picking one of the named offers - building your own is hit or miss and obscurable by the other people in line, so you won't have much time to think about it.
Read morePros: Oat based soft serve is quite good, Rainbow sprinkles have a good flavor and texture

Amazing ice cream creations - Edit
This vegan ice cream place is not only great for folks with food sensitivities (oat-based ice cream, great allergen labeling), but comes out gorgeous! It's not just a swirl in a cone ... It's a gorgeous work of art!

Absolutely loved our ice creams - I had pecan and cinnamon crumb with an apple syrup core and it was so great. My friend had a chocolate creation and was equally impressed. Best vegan icecream I have tried! Love that they are fully customisable too 👌🏼

Fave ice cream - Edit
Out of all the vegan ice cream I've tried, WUDL is my favorite.
Read moreThe ice cream is smooth, creamy, and light. Doesn't have that "playdough" taste like most vegan ice creams have, and it's truly delicious and satisfying.
The strawberry shortcake is my favorite, and I get it every single time (in a cone). The crumb topping does tend to get everywhere, even if you eat carefully. The strawberry syrup is to die for.
It tastes just like the Good Humor brand.
Pros: Delicious

They serve very instagrammable ice creams made with oat milk, but the taste is quite regular, definitively not worth the price (9$). Also, the place very crowded and untidy.
