Loveliest little place. Accommodates your needs. - Edit
This place is easy to miss. They have a tiny little sign in the small lane way. You'll need to turn into a dirt road to come upon an old house that has been turned into a restaurant. They have a rotating handwritten menu that may not include a veg option. I told them that I'm vegetarian, so they asked me what I do/don't eat and said they'd just whip something up. I also asked for no mushrooms (allergic) and minimal onions (yuck). They prepared a delicious meal with roasted veggies, seasoned rice, salad, and tamagoyaki (Japanese omlette). They also had a tofu option available. I swear, the meal felt like a perfectly seasoned/cooked hug for my stomach. Hahaha. Go check it out!

Great vegan surprise dinner - Edit
Feels very homely. There was only one vegan dinner option, a surprise plate, but it was amazing, such variety and high quality! Nice people as well

Taste: 5 stars - Edit
With no reviews yet, few other vegan options around in the evening, and intrigued by the description I decided to give this place a try.
Read moreGoogle maps located the restaurant in the middle of a building block, and in the darkness I did not see the small sign on the ground pointing towards the entry. Luckily, another visitor "picked me up" and confirmed that this was indeed the place I was looking for.
I was seated upstairs in a traditional yet uniquely arranged space.
Since their menu tends to change quite often, there is no English menu, but the chef speaks fluent English, so no problem there at all. He explained that they don't actually have vegan dishes on the menu, but that he will arrange something for me. The fact, the he pointed out for my drink order (homemade lemonade), that they would usually use honey, but he would replace that with brown sugar, made me rest assured that I was in good hands.
And well, what should I say, I was pretty impressed by the quality of that "winged meal" and felt strongly that both, the lemonade with brown sugar and the dish he arranged would be well received if added permanently to the menu! In the end I got rice, salad, some beans in a tomato sauce, baked aubergine, and fried veggies. All of which was very tasty, rich in different flavours and really just a well rounded meal. Also, very much appreciated that he made me a bigger portion since I had walked over 20km exploring the temples that day 😅
If possible, I would have given him five stars for the taste, strongly recommended!
