I met my boyfriend here for a drink and realised how much vegan food they had. I had the vegan quarter pounder and he had the tacos. The burger was one of the smokiest burgers I’ve ever had it was SO good. I also tried his tacos and I was very impressed. I then found out that this entire place is vegetarian. We spoke to one of the owners who told us lots about the place! I’ll DEFINITELY be revisiting

I’ve been here once already but came again for my birthday lunch. Today I got the vegan quarter-pounder with skin on fries, and it was excellent. The burger itself was really tasty, lots of flavour (only negative for me was the onion comes in a full slice, would be nicer diced), but the skin-on-fries WERE SUPERB! Some of the best chips I’ve ever had. They had lots of vegan cakes available, but I already had cake at home so maybe next time. I would say though, that for a vegetarian restaurant, the vegan menu isn’t huge. They list pizzas - even though the pizzas are only available at their other branch - and the Mexican street food is only available after 4pm for some reason, so no nachos for me 😞

Due to current COVID restrictions ordering was through their app by scanning a QR code Food was was really nice with a decent selection for vegans. We hadn’t booked but they managed to find us a table after a short wait.
Read moreWith current situation they were taking customers debit/credits behind bar as part of ordering service - you then went up to the bar at end of meal retrieved your card and then paid. Didn’t like this at all and wouldn’t do this again - when I asked they said another option was to pay up front but this option wasn’t offered when we arrived.

I ordered the tamales and it tasted amazing, followed by cake which was great. Normally I find dog friendly cafes have limited vegan options/not great food so I was pleasantly surprised! Food looked fresh and had so much flavour.

This place is a great find. Plenty of vegan options all clearly labelled, helpful and friendly staff and a good atmosphere. We had toasted sandwiches and they were delicious. Bella (dog) had a puppaccino and she loved it. Highly recommend!

Dog friendly and they also had screens for the football, the perfect pub for me!
Edit - I went back on 03/11/2019 with the family.
As part of the order a vegan and non-vegan sandwich came to the table and the waiter confirmed which was which. After biting into the vegan one I was concerned it was real cheese. I asked another waiter to confirm if it was vegan or not, they came back and confirmed it was not vegan. Obviously I was very upset about this.
I went up to the bar and ordered a beer. I heard the waiter mention this to the owner and I made them aware that it was me with the mix up and the owner apologised. I asked for the beer on the house due to the mix and and the owner said “I am not that sorry”.
I found this comment very rude and unprofessional. I emailed in my complaint and did not get a response for 5days. I had to forward on the email again to get a response!

This is our local vegan cafe-bar and I absolutely love it. Visit regularly for brunch, tea and cake and more recently the seitan hotdog and chips 👌👌👌
Read moreHighly recommend the sausages that come with brunch - one bubble and squeak style, one Linda. Also turmeric latte with oat milk, peanut whoopie pie (two cookies with jam and cream - vegan) and the hotdog as above.

Amazing Veggie Place - Edit
Such a nice place to relax. Not overly busy, vegan options clearly marked. Everything else is vegetarian. They let dogs in and have a separate menu for them as well as free water bowls. The staff are so nice and make sure that everything is made how you want it.

Such an awesome find, this place has a great (new) menu with a vegan option/alternative listed for each dish, along with vegan cakes and a great atmosphere. Dog friendly, loads of space, comfy couches, lots of choice for vegans and gluten free, and really great staff! Would highly recommend.

Nice space, with plenty of cakes on the counter with several vegan options. For brunch, there was limited vegan 'proper' food options (avacado or tofu scramble on toast, vegan toastie, possibly soup on a different day).
