Created a separate vegan menu in 2017 which includes choices like wok fried greens, stir-fried udon or soba, katsu curry, fried rice, vegkatsu with rice, gyoza/dumplings, bao buns with mushroom and aubergine, and sorbet for dessert. Serves juice and smoothies. Open Mon-Thu 11:00-22:00, Fri-Sat 11:00-23:00, Sun 11:00-22:00.

Limited options but tasty! - Edit
Limited vegan options but what they do have is tasty! The location is really convenient, and the restaurant itself is spacious and comfortable. I had the Kare Burosu and enjoyed it :)

Loads of options, spoiled for choice. Had the vegan chicken for starters which was amazing, and the firecracker tofu curry which was just the right amount of spice.

Tasty food, but limited choice - Edit
Always get the GF Tofu Raisukeree Curry as that’s pretty much the only option that meets my dietary requirements. Super tasty, but would like to see more VE GF options in the future as it’s so easy to do with asian/fusion food! Great with the handling of allergens, as all Wagas are.

It’s good to see a non vegan restaurant have a whole menu dedicated to vegan food with a wide range of options that all seemed delicious.
Read moreHowever, I don’t think there was a single non spicy item on the menu, with even the mild options apparently being rather warm. Also if you order the tofu firecracker, be warned, it is extremely hot, even for those that can manage heat.
While the waiters were nice, the service was also unnecessarily slow, even when it wasn’t busy.
That being said, I probably would go again - great place to eat out with family or friends.
Pros: lots of options
Cons: slow service , it’s all spicy hot
