I felt like it could have been more flavorful also felt like the person taking our order wasn’t the kindest towards vegans (just a tad condescending) but the food was good and we were happy to have this option when sunflower was closed

My family is Vietnamese and a mix of vegan and non vegan, so we decided to try Vui’s during our stay in Nashville. The vegan pho was great. I’ve never seen jalapeños in pho before, thought that was an interesting take.
Read moreWe ended up finding Vui herself across the street working at Vui’s juice cafe (which, by the way, has DELICIOUS drinks). She’s an absolute sweetheart, with a clear passion for her business. She chatted with us for a bit, mentioning how our family reminded her of her own, who do not live in town. I am so happy someone like her can offer Vietnamese cuisine in Nashville, and make it accessible to vegans at the same time!

Great vegan pho and edamame dumplings. Staff is always friendly even when they are busy. Highly recommend, I have been coming here since before I was vegan. Very thankful for the vegan options they have.

Something changed very recently with how they’re making the vegan pho.
Read moreI absolutely loved it the first couple times I ordered it, but last week I had it again and it was very disappointing. I tasted mushroom too much and it wasn’t sweet at all.
The service is always an odd experience. The workers don’t seem happy to be there.
Don’t think I’ll push to go back anytime soon.
They DO have amazing food sometimes and a lovely outdoor eating area, so you should give it a try yourself!

Lemongrass Tofu - Edit
I ordered the lemongrass tofu carry out but they gave chicken by mistake. They weren’t that nice when I returned with the entree. Parking is tight. Small portions.

I love this place!!! I always get the mushroom broth (vegan) pho and a lemongrass bánh mì sandwich without mayo. The employees are super kind and easy to talk to. Their tapioca pudding is suuuuper delicious, I stalk up and buy 3 every time I go...there is also an I love juice bar that shares a parking lot and their whole menu is vegan as well as mostly raw and gluten free (except for a Greek yogurt parfait in their grab and go.) everything there is pretty customizable.
