What a surprise - Edit
We went today for the first time, and what a surprise. The food was delicious, the staff was very nice and the place has such a chill and cozy vibe.

Vegetariano. En el menú entre semana siempre hay minimo un plato vegano y si preguntas, las pizzas pueden hacerlas con quedo vegano también. Comida muy rica y variada con combinaciones innovadoras. Muy recomendado. Limonada casera incluida con el menú.

Interesantes opciones veganas. Muchos platos con queso que se podían veganizar. Pone que es plant-based pero hay platos con leche o huevo. Esta vez había más opciones veganas en un menú de 15.5 euros con dos platos, bebida y postre. Raciones abundantes.

First vegan meal in Spain - Edit
My friends and I still had a few hours until check-in at our Airbnb. Since I am the only vegan among us, I was allowed to choose a restaurant for us to eat and pass the time. That's how I came across Viva through happyCow. I had ordered a vegan burger there and the patty made of soy and beans was tastier than any patty here in Germany, I even liked it better than Beyond Meat. It was so good that I ate the burger again the following day.

Amazing food - try the socarrat - Edit
We ordered a patatas bravas and and a socarrat (like a paella but more fried) to share. All I can say is wow. The socarrat might have single handedly been my favourite dish that I have had in Spain, and I’ve been here for 9 days. The pan it was served in was bursting with flavour. My eyes rolled into the back of my head every time a shiitake mushroom graced the presence of my mouth. So 👏 Freakin 👏 Good 👏

It was a little bit expensive, but fair for the high quality.
The main downfall was the long wait time, we were waiting 20 minutes for the waiter to take our food order and then the socarrat didn’t come out for some time. Having said this the staff were lovely and we weren’t in any rush so it didn’t affect our experience.
the second downfall is that it’s only about 35% vegan I would say.
With these two negatives in play I can’t bring myself to give Viva 5 stars, although both dishes were 5 star dishes.

Fuimos a comer al restaurante con nuestra perrita. Segunda vez que fuimos. Nos gustan muchos de sus platos aunque otros no. Buen ambiente y servicio y sobre todo pet friendly algo importante para nosotros. Se aparca muy bien en la zona aunque por desgracia la terraza no es muy soleada por lo que siempre hemos comido dentro. Se ven a los cocineros cocinar y eso la verdad me encanta. #Veganuary

The restaurant is designed really well and has a lovely ambience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice to see the open plan kitchen and see the chef's at work. The food was delicious, we had the menu del día and had a good range of vegan options. Every dish was fantastic. All at a great price. Definitely recommended.

Vegan meal made of appetizers - Edit
I was a bit disappointed to find that this restaurant has quite a few vegan options in the appetizer section, but only one in the main dish area. There was no vegan pizza option. The menu is a bit confusing initially because in some dishes they mention vegan ingredient like vegan sobrasada, but in the rest of the ingredients you find dairy and honey. I do understand that this is a vegetarian place and it's targeted to vegetarian people more. We ordered patatas bravas, kimchi gyozas which were really delicious, the vegan brownie which was also very tasty and the mini paralello.
