Good food served with extra fees... - Edit
We came here for dinner and had a green smoothie, Aida (tortellini, risotto and pasta) and two pizzas ("Housewife" and "Champignon").
Read moreYou have to scan a QR code for the menu, which didn't work in our case, so we were provided with a tablet by the restaurant. The online menu was available in various languages but it was not very well laid out and lacked definite information about allergens.
You also need to read the fine print which says there's a 1€ "service fee" per person, and an *additional* 10% (normal) to 15% (evenings and holidays) service fee on the bill. This is clearly a way to make the already high prices (for Napoli) not look as high as they really are.
Also note that there's an extra fee for making some of the dishes and drinks vegan (e.g. 1 € for Pizza, 0.50€ for Cappuccino). Strange for a restaurant that advertises a lot with "VEGANO".
The food was very good (one of the pizzas was a little on the salty side) and the service was quick and reasonably polite for Italian standards.
Overall, while we did enjoy the food, we wouldn't come back.
Pros: tasty food
Cons: high prices and service fees, no menu on website

I dream of this food! - Edit
We went here in June of 2025 and it was amazing! We were only in the vicinity for one week and we traveled to Naples twice for it. I got the “O' SCARPARIELLO” pasta and “NONNA FRANCA” pizza. My son loved the “bluemisu” aka blueberry tiramisu.

Delicious plant-based cuisine! The lasagna was exquisite, and the fried dishes were excellent as well. We had a wonderful time—the place is welcoming and cozy. We’d love to come back to try more dishes.

Sorprendente - Edit

Worst food I had in Italy - Edit
I’m extremely surprised at the high ratings. I have sent back only one dish in my life and I had to send back the pignato . It was advertised as a soup and was basically a thick and stringy bean dip with no seasoning or flavor. I got the Van Gogh pasta as a replacement and same story. No flavor or seasoning and sickeningly sweet. I basically left the whole plate of pasta (which was €18). The salad was the best thing and the dressing still lacked flavor.
Read moreYou can tell that the staff doesn’t eat the food there because they couldn’t even provide me a recommendation to replace the dish.
Getting here involved walking through heaps of trash, people sleeping on the street, and large groups of men standing outside. I would not feel safe coming here alone.
They also have QR code menu, but we had poor service in the area and couldn’t connect to their WiFi. Nothing like staring at your phone waiting desperately for it to load just to see the menu.

Sehr guter Service - Edit

Go to in Naples - Edit
What a great place!
Read moreThe space itself feels very hip and trendy. Staff is welcoming and friendly.
It took us a moment to select what we wanted to eat from the long list.
We had the green smoothie to start.
Afterwards we had the raw lasagne and a salad with pepper sauce. The other dish we tried was the ravioli, the baroque with pumpkin sauce. The African dessert was tasty.
The salad was nice in size and filling.
Everything was clearly freshly prepared and very tasty. I wouldn't order the raw lasagne again as it was quite heavy with the nut cheese. But we look forward to try more delicious dishes here.
We went back 3 times during our stay.
- The sesame salad and Parthenope cucumber salad were tasty and filling
- The regular lasagne was really nice and beautifully presented in the round shape.
- The pumpkin truffle risotto was tasty.
- The pizza with porcini was a bit dry, as it didn't seem to have a sauce. But flavours were good.
- the Moussaka was good, but a bit small and served with extra bread but it felt like a weird combination
- Vesuvio pasta was tasty
- dessert trio was sublime

Best food in Napoli - Edit
Really enjoyed the food here. Wasn't hungry at all when we sat down for our reservation, but still managed to polish off a primi and secondi due to how well flavoured and seasoned the food was.
Read moreWe had the deconstructed lasagne and genovese macaroni to start, the latter was absolutely gorgeous and smelt amazing too.
We had the meatballs and the soy based stew to follow, and the both dishes were really very tasty. Good prosecco at a fair price.

VegaNaples 💚 - Edit

Really good vegan food, prepared by a chef who actually knows how to cook vegan! - Edit
After the deeply disappointing experience at O'Barão Bistrot Brasiliano in Maiori (Amalfi Coast, Italy), both in terms of food quality and the owner’s attitude, our lunch at Vitto Pitagorico in Naples felt like a true breath of fresh air.
Read moreThe dishes were outstanding, prepared with meticulous attention to detail, flavour, and presentation. The menu offered an extensive selection, and the staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming. In short, the contrast with O'Barão could not have been greater: like night and day.
I wholeheartedly recommend Vitto Pitagorico to any vegan visiting Naples. This is authentic vegan dining, none of the “look at me, I’m pretending to be vegan to get clients” nonsense.
Quote: "it's because of scientists like you that many restaurateurs refuse to add vegan options"
Response : It's because of restaurants like Vitto Pitagorico that true vegans keep their hopes up. ;-)

The pizza with mushrooms was perfect with incredible toppings, and their Pappardelle e ragù di soia alla bolognese was pure comfort food magic, rich, hearty sauce that fooled our taste buds completely! The Tarte Tatin dessert was the perfect sweet finale. This place lets you experience all the Italian classics.
