VITA - Palermo

So it was my first time there and I decided to bring over my cousins who are meat-eaters to join me and introduce them to vegan food. Since, this was the only vegan place nearer from the rest, this was the first time for all of us.

First impression the place looks very pretty in the entrance, wooden tables, but since it was a really hot day we wanted to have a little more privacy so there is a sector in the back, however there's a speaker in the roof with music too loud to talk to each other. It didn't matter because we were there for the food anyways.

So, I was surprised a guy came into our table with the Menu and gave 1 menu to each of us. I've got one that had oil stains, so I tried to hide it haha. My cousin saw the table was dirty though :S

Anyways, we asked for an entrance of avocado and nachos and it was not available so we had to choose something else. So we went for some potatoes with rosemary and they were absolutely delicious!! It was outstanding!! Also, while we were waiting for main dish to come, we had some lovely smoothies!!

It was a hot day so the smoothies were great! I've asked for Strawberry, pineapple, cucumber juice and my cousins ordered citric juices. Anyways, we had more roasted potatoes wedges with vegan cream which was extremely delicious! Then, I so regret not ordering the mushroom sandwich it was huge and filled up with avocado and vegan mayo, my cousin was truly enjoying it. I've asked for some lentils burgers but they were kind of broken, they tasted delicious though.

At the end, it was a nice experience, in my opinion there are small things to improve but my family was delighted with the taste of the foods. So, I recommend it :) I would go again :D

we went for lunch, the food was good if you like vegan food the try to taste like meat. they didn't have all the things in the menu and it was a bit disappointing. their limonad was nice as well, and the dulce de leche creep was amazing. but! the service was bad, it took to long for the food to arrive, the place was half empty and they couldn't handle the table, in the end it took us like 15 minutes just to get the check.

We really enjoyed the atmosphere and food at VITA. We got a fruit juice to start and it was super refreshing on a hot day. Our table shared the guacamole and chips, and my boyfriend and I each shared a hummus sandwich and guacamole sandwich. Both were filling and delicious! All the desserts looked so yummy, we will need to go back to try some more! I highly recommend it!

This was my fav vegan place in BA. The food is so creative and so delicious. We went back 4 times because we just couldn't get enough! The tofu Milanese on the lunch menu is to die for! They also have a breakfast and dinner menu. Also so many good fresh juices! A must during your visit !

Food is very nice, but not the best thing here...location, decoration and staff are a great plus to this restaurant.
The banana toffee cake is outstanding!!!

Gostei da comida mas achei caro para o que é servido. De qualquer forma vale conhecer, pessoal muito simpático e atencioso.

Definitely not the best vegan food I ever ate, but not the worse either. Yet, I went here twice, as I thought maybe the kitchen had an off-day the first time. They hadn't. I had a plate with all the vegan 'meats' they had, some were oke, some tasted like plastic. Their carrot mayonnaise was delicious though, still didn't manage to imitate it at home. It's vegetarian with many vegan options.

i just want to say that I visited VITA last week and I was really happy with my big super delicious not to sweet choclate cake! Can definately recommend this place to you ;)

Loved the restaurant! Good comfort food and good service. Good to go with non vegan friends and family and it has more indulgent dinner and desert options. Recommend to make a reservation if going on the weekend or around 8-10 pm. Not Very cheap but also not as expensive as the others "normal" ones around
Pt: amei o restaurante! Comida e serviços bons. Bom pra comer com não veganos pois tem opções mais indulgentes de jantar e sobremesa. Recomendo reservar mesa se for no final de semana ou em horário de pico. Não é barato mas é mais barato que os outros "normais" que estão a volta

Good option if you are a wheat eater.

Pedimos muy entusiasmados una parrillada vegana... Nos entregaron una variedad de seitan y chorizos veganos más bien secos, sin gusto. La parrillada NO está hecha a la parrilla, está todo disecado al horno. Vino acompañada por una ensalada de hojas verdes... que en realidad era una ensalada cualunque de tomate y lechuga mal presentada. Ni las papas supieron hacer!!! Probamos un poco de cada cosa y devolvimos todos los platos. Pedimos un descuento. Nos hicieron un descuento miserable de $43! Nos quejamos con la encargada y siguió firme con su ridiculo descuento. Pagamos básicamente 300 pesos por un vino. El chef del lugar no tiene amor propio por su profesión, no podes llevar eso a la mesa. Una vergüenza de lugar.

the food is so basic and not good at all, for that kind of prices they should be tasting their food first before offering it to clients. the cook is kinda bad. found a glass in my salad once BAM!

Seriously good vegan food!! The lemon pie is insane, and the hummus sandwich is delicious.

In my opinion, the best vegan restaurant of Buenos Aires. Everyone should know it.

Might not be the cheapest, but price goes along with the area (Palermo).

I had lunch there. Service is very good and nice. I ordered the plat du jour and water with a touch of mint! I really recommend it

I found this place on HappyCow and was eager to visit it! The food was great and the ambiance was great as well! The waitress was extra nice! Lots of different vegan options!

Bumped there on a Saturday afternoon searching some late lunch (and knowing the other Vita restaurant, in the center). Very nice place, fist, with a lot of light and a cool interior design.

I found that I could "only" pick from the breakfast / afternoon snack menu, BUT it's full of nice things.

I wanted something savory so I had a babaganoush sandwich and it was awesome! Warm whole meal bread, delicious babaganoush, roasted peppers and salad. Really great! And a green juice to go with it.

Definitely a cool place for breakfast / snack / lunch / etc, but pretty loud.

I was here in May and quite frankly this place saved me during my trip to Buenos Aires! The food was good and there were lots of options... I even bought some soy dulce de leche to take home :) Good for a casual lunch but also dinner out.

Vita's second location in Palermo's popular Plaza Armenia is a 100% vegan restaurant that has a bakery and large dessert selection, as well as a menu of healthy foods, juices and artesanal beers. In this clean and modern, bright location with high ceilings, you can dine in, take out or purchase from a small selection of packaged health food items. They don't currently offer delivery but I heard several people ask so they might start soon.

The atmosphere was casual and friendly, with a health/eco focus. Service was professional and cheerful. I thought the menu was quite large (especially bakery and desserts) -- perhaps too large. Although it's awesome to have so many vegan choices, it was hit or miss, with some of the items being near-perfect while others were slightly dry or bland. They could offer fewer things and make sure all of them are awesome and I'd be happy. It's on the more expensive side, using high-quality ingredients like cashew cream. Some meat/cheese substitutes offered, like the traditional meat platter, might be good for a light introduction to potential vegans.
