Good Indian food on the Alps - Edit
A very pleasant surprise, definitely unexpected. A budget hotel restaurant, it didn't look very promising when we got there. Both the hotel and the restaraunt are managed by an Indian family, and they offer, besides pizza and Italian dishes, a very good selection of Indian food, with vegetarian and vegan options. Interestingly enough, even if you order Italian food, they don't serve Italian bread, but only naan and chapati (ask for the ghee-free version).
The Indian dishes are absolutely amazing, savoury but not greasy.
We have tried the vegetable pakora (fried in oil, remember to ask not to use ghee), and a spicy lentil dhal with a balanced taste. Keep into consideration if you travel to Trentino.
Pros: big portions , very good food, friendly staff
