Delicious seitan (and other) options! - Edit
What a phenomenal place (pretty big and comfy too) with DELICIOUS vegan options; seitan wings (ask for the vegan mayo dip too) and then seitan street tacos with vegan cheese. Absolutely epic! Blackbird seitan!

UPDATE March 2026: I sure do miss the last chef. The food is so mediocre now that the prices do not make sense. $5 for wet, crumbled, unseasoned tofu.. not even salt was added! To call that tofu scramble is a full on scam, a whole block of tofu is only $2 at the store, they did absolutely nothing to it besides crumble and warm it. I was expecting kala namak(black salt) for eggy flavor, nutritional yeast, onion and garlic powder, salt and pepper at least if not some chopped onion, tomato, bell pepper, like ANYTHING! The food used to be so good. Sad to see this place as not an option anymore when it's only a 2 minute walk from home. The home fries didn't even taste seasoned. The sourdough bread was good and the veg was fresh, the only positives really. Their Blackbird Foods seitan tacos and apple pizza will live on in memory.

No more Blackbird Foods seitan tacos, nachos, wings, nor the sauces that came with it, the apple pizza is gone, and the once crunchy sweet potato fries are now flaccid and soggy. Vegans now have the same old run of the mill unimaginative options of hummus platter, bbq tofu, cauliflower wings, brussels sprouts, a grain bowl, a salad, or an impossible burger(if the brioche or GF buns are even vegan). The apple cake for dessert sounds alright but the pizza was only a few dollars more, sharable with muuultiple people, and delicious on their sourdough crust. I hope their menu changes again soon.
ORIGINAL POST May 2025: You're not going to find better vegan food in Winchester, seriously. I love that they're able to make a variety of their offerings vegan upon request, you will not be turned away or looked at sideways(though it may be hard to order anything other than their seitan tacos, because they are incredible!). The space is always clean, their staff is super friendly and attentive, so I honestly have no complaints. If you come here you will not be disappointed! They sometimes run specials as well, their vegan burger option was really great a few months back and I hope to see more vegan specials in the future.

I had the Fried Cauliflower and Fried Tofu, and a Cosmopolitan Cocktail. All of it was top-notch-delectable.

The server and the other diners next to me made my day even more blissful.
I also loved the rectilinear architecture that gives this establishment a unique modern but comforting aesthetic! The campus was very nice, inside and out.

With so few vegan options in town, this is by far our favorite and goto place for a beer and some seitan wings or tacos!
