Perfect fast food - Edit

The food was simple but quite tasty and very reasonable in price, and the staff was friendly :) I recommend take away cause the place isnt so welcoming though, the place looks a bit like a kebab business, is vegan food finally becoming mainstream!? :D Overall, good experience!

nice burgers - Edit

Decent burgers, big portions of fries. They also had some desserts that we didn't try. Very friendly service from the person taking orders, but the person bringing our food didn't seem to want to speak, or maybe they lost their voice? Still they seemed very friendly, but it can be of putting maybe. Anyway, decent food for decent prices.

Pros: Good prices

Great burgers - Edit

We tried the Mangez Moi and the Savorez Moi burgers with a side of chips, and it was all great - probably the best vegan burgers I've had in Paris. The patties are meaty and delicious, the bread is crusty on the outside and soft inside, and the vegan cheese and toppings are well chosen. The chips were crispy and delicious. I would definitely recommend this place for the food.

The sauces to go with the chips were a little less inspiring compared to the home-made ketchup and mayonnaise offered by some other places - tomato sauce and mustard from bottles.

The location is also a little dingy, so despite the amazing food this might not be the best place to meet friends or for a date.

Pros: Amazing burgers, Fast and friendly service, Low prices for the quality of the food

Cons: Location dingy

Nice burgers - Edit

Around the corner from Gare du Nord, the first place we went to when we arrived in Paris. The burgers were really nice and for around 10 euro for a menu (with fries and a drink) it's very affordable.

Pros: Great burgers, Affordable

Sympathique - Edit

Very great experience. Will be back ! - Edit

We looked for a vegan burgers restaurant and choose to try this one. This was a very good choice ! Everything was good :
- The explications of the waitress was clear and helpful
- The service was quick
- The taste of the burger was amazing. The patties are soft, the buns so sweet like a cloud, the different toppings interesting and well combined.
- The desserts were very good, not too sugary
- The choice of drinks is very large (even if for some you have to pay more)
- The sides can be fries (my husband loved them), salad (a little bit simple maybe) or a soup
It was a really good experience and we will definitively come back.

Pros: Quality of the burgers, sides and desserts

Cons: The room is not very the best I know

Veggie fast food indulgence! - Edit

Burgers and chips. Sloppy, tasty veggie burgers and chips made to order. Super nice, friendly staff in a cozy venue.

I had the "Mille Feuilles Guacamole," which I heartily recommend. It's a delicious, satisfying mess. Heh they put tortilla crisps on the burger. Yep. Good. The only improvement I can imagine is for them to have a few beers on tap. Burgers, fries, beers.

Pros: Veggie burger delight, Very outgoing staff

Nice service, great value! - Edit

We had been touring Europe for almost 3 weeks and thought we were fed up with vegan burgers but VG proved us wrong! We were redirected here from another veggie place which was about to close, wouldn't have discovered it otherwise. So glad we did!
Friendly English speaking staff, some great and original burger ideas and good value meal options. Loved the fries, free water and sauces on the table!
Not fully vegan but very easily made that way.

Pros: Complimentary water, WiFi, sauces etc, Great service , Interesting burgers

Cons: Bit out of the way

Nice burger and fries - Edit

The guacamole burger is pretty tasty, it comes with homemade fries for a reasonable price. Cheesecake wasn't very good at all, but it's a minor thing. The place is quite tiny so it fills up fast.

Solid choice - Edit

Normally i would go to Hank Burger while in Paris because it's 100% vegan but VG was a shorter distance. Excellent vegan burger, fries & drink for under 10 euros. Menu is only in french but they have handy pictures of the burger varieties.

The proprieter gave me and the other customer free broken cookies!

Also a bonus that they don't close in the afternoon hours like so many restaurants in France.

Pros: good reasonably priced food, nice mellow atmosphere, friendly staff

Cons: vegetarian instead of 100% vegan

Delicious burgers - Edit

VG is conveniently located close to the Poissonnière metro station (line 7, just one stop from the Gare de l'Est). It isn't a particularly stylish restaurant. Since it's quite small and there's a lot of frying going on, sensitive people might not like the air quality.

The food, however, was excellent. I had the "Mangez-moi" (mushroom burger), which I'd rate as the best veggie burger ever (I do like mushrooms, though). I definitely recommend giving this place a try and can't wait to return! If you don't like the atmosphere, you can always get the food to go (takeout).

Pros: Tasty vegetarians and vegan burgers, convenient location, inexpensive

Cons: Bad air

Une carte délicieuse... - Edit

Amazing experience - Edit

Specialising in burgers, this place offers both vegetarian and vegan options, which were clearly explained by the staff. I went for a vegan burger with chips and a drink, which cost me €9.90. The portion was very large in my opinion and left me full for hours. But most importantly it was the most tasty burger I have ever tried! The place itself was very cozy and had free WiFi - I ended up staying there for over an hour! Definitely recommend this place.

Pros: Vegan options, great price, big portions, very tas

Cons: None

Greaaat burgers, definitly recommend this place. - Edit

As a non-vegetarian person I've been taken to many vegetarian restaurant by some friends that I found good. But to me, if you talk about burgers only, VG is definitly one of the best! For sure, it depends on everyones own taste.

I went there couple of times to try the different burgers they proposed. My favourites are : Guacamole burger, Mushroom burger and there was a limited edition one as well. The other ones are great but these favourites are far better :)

The staff is pretty busy while in rush hours but in between peak time, they pretty cool and we had a pretty good conversation about VG food. Although I find the place a bit dark it is still nice to go there with some friends and enjoy your meal.

I definitly recommend this place.

Pros: Most burgers are awesome, Homemade fries are tasty, Limited edition burgers

Cons: Peak hours

Burger was unexceptional - Edit

The guacamole burger was okay, but disappointing after reading the positive reviews here. Would not go back. Hank burgers are much better. Nothing charming about the space either.

MaximeDo 02 Apr 2015 - Hello, you write your review on VG based on only 1 burger ? and not even try their best burger like the Mushroom burger or the Souriez moi ?Their fries and Buns are home made not Industrial like Hank...

Ericko 06 Apr 2015 - haha Rating a whole restaurant after trying just one burger... And saying that you would not go back because you were disappointed for this burger... I feel like you are from Hank burgers trying to diss a competitor...

Great burger! - Edit

Very reasonably priced and tasty food. This is a small place, but the service is excellent and the portions very generous. Homemade fries were really good (potatoes sliced and fried in front of me) and the guacamole burger was delicious. Meal cost €9.90 including fries and drink.

Pros: Tasty, Cheap, Generous portions

Meilleur burger parisien - Edit

Bref, j'adore !

Pros: Prix, Burgers excellent

Cons: Ambiance

Burgers sympas :) - Edit

great veggie burgers - Edit

This was my first stop in Paris and I was starving. My meal hit the spot and fueled the rest of my day. I got the guacamole veggie burger and it was excellent. The guy waiting on us didn't know much English but he was still very friendly. The food came quick and was one of the best veggie burgers I've had. The fries were really good too.

Pros: vegetarian and vegan options, friendly staff, fast service

Delicious Burgers! - Edit

This tiny place was really great! The people taking orders and cooking our meals were so friendly.. We had the "Mille feuilles guacamole"- and the "Mangez-Moi!"-Burger. We chose to have salad and soup instead of the fries. Although the food wasn't hot, the taste made all up for it! Both burgers were supreme and the sides were so fresh and tasty! We will go back there for sure on our next trip to Paris.

VG - Edit

Pros: gutes Essen, guter Preis

Not a special place, but good - Edit

A fast food place with a homey-ness about it. The burgers are good, but our fries were a bit greasy and soggy. Although one bad batch of fries, might not be an example of every batch of fires....

The food is very reasonable at 10 euros for a burger, fries and a drink.

However the atmosphere is not really trendy nor cozy. I wouldn't make a special trip to eat here, but if in the neighborhood, definitely check it out. The service is very friendly.

Pros: Good value, Friendly service, Excellent soup

Cons: Decor is lacking

Another great veg' fast food in Paris - Edit

VG is a new fast food in Paris that offers vegetarian and vegan burgers, soups, a dish of the day, salads and drinks. They have four permanent burgers and one burger of the month. Except the one with feta, every burger has a vegan version, so do not hesitate to precise if you are vegan or not. Burgers are very good, with varied tastes (mushrooms, grilled seitan, guacamole, dried tomato, etc.) and are sufficiently big. It is interesting to take their menus containing one burger, a relatively big portion of delicious home-made fries or a soup or a salad, and a drink, for less than 10 euros. They also have vegan desserts such as muffins.

The whole food is home-made and of really good quality, better than the one of East Side Burgers for example. The staff is friendly. If you are in a hurry, however, you will probably wait a little bit if the restaurant is crowded.

Pros: quality and taste of food, vegan dessert, friendly staff, great french fries, affordable

Cons: closes too early, may be not fast if crowded
