Yummi authentic food - Edit
I had a scampi salad sandwich. I thought the serving was too small at first but it was filling.

Worth a visit! - Edit
Tried a veganized version of the Swedish classic köttbullar and wasn’t disappointed. The mashed potatoes were a bit too thick in my opinion which made the entire dish a bit dry. But it definitely tasted good. My friend had a vegan burger which I liked a lot. The fries that came with it were also good. The restaurant is nice and the cook / waitress was great.

Good buffet, the rest okay - Edit
The food from the buffet was really good and for a reasonable price (159 SEK during lunchtime). However, the service was not very friendly and the caprese salad was a little disappointing. In a vegan restaurant I‘d expect an actual mozzarella-substitute, but the cheese was more like a vegan feta. The size was okay, but could be bigger considering the price of 149 SEK.

So good we went here 2 days in a row! - Edit
Was on a business trip to Stockholm and went to Verte for lunch two days in a row! The first day my partner and I got the buffet, the curried sweet potatoes were especially standout. Other food was pretty good, par for the course as far as Swedish vegan food I’ve experienced in my limited time here. The second day I brought several coworkers and ordered a La carte. We got the dumplings and vegan balls (excellent!) and they got green pea bowls. All the food was great, the restaurant is cute and it’s got great people watching in Gamla Stan. Perfect sidewalk for an Aperol Spritz. The service for a la carte took a little bit, but I think it was because there was 1 woman working - she was lovely and was managing the whole FOH herself. One of our favorite spots on our brief visit to Stockholm!

No mashed potatoes - Edit
Cute little restaurant. We wanted the meatballs but they ran out of mashed potatoes. So we got fries…. Well… But the service was nice, the food and drinks, too.

Nice homemade Eastern European dumplings - Edit
Tried the dumplings with sauerkraut & mushrooms. Clearly homemade, Freshly Made, fatty and tasty. Eastern European in the best possible way.
Read moreThe venue is quite boring though, feels and looks like an old pizza place. Not that cozy…
Pros: Fully vegan
Cons: Uncozy venue, looks and feels old, Not many customers

Okay, but nothing special - Edit
The place looked nice and we were excited to try the burger. It was okay, but really nothing special. Quite basic. The fries were bland and not that crispy, and they came without any dipping sauce. However, we got ketchup and aioli (which was actually very good), when we asked for it.

Not the best takeaway - Edit
Place looks nice and the buffet looks good but as far as takeaway from the a la carte menu goes it was tiny, expensive and honestly no better than Bröd&Salt. Maybe I’ll try eating in next time but as for takeaway, there’s so many better options.

Cons: Expensive, Tiny takeaway portions, Not the best food

Great little cafe/lunch spot - Edit
My husband and I wrapped up our time at the Nobel Prize Museum, and Verte is around the corner.
Read moreWe each ordered the pasta of the day, which was lasagna, and we split the “vegoballs”—a vegan version of Swedish meatballs with mashed potato’s, gravy, and a certain berry that I’m forgetting the name of. Overall, it was tasty! The portions were a great size—not too big and not too small.

Will be back - Edit
Nice to have another fully vegan place open in Gamla Stan. Me and my family had the meatless meatballs and the burger, we were all content but it wasn’t anything special. I will be back and try something else with the hope of a more interesting flavor experience.

Vegan lunch in Old Town - Edit
159kr (around 15 euro) for a vegan lunch buffet is a good price, considering the location of the restaurant. Located in the old town of Stockholm, which ramps up the prices a bit. Food tasted fresh.

Nice food, slightly uncomfortable restaurant - Edit
Excellent food and lots of options on the menu. Vegan buffet is >230kroner, quite pricey, but gives you a range of foods from various cuisines. Mushroom gnocchi, falafel, Thai curry, butternut squash Korma, plus a salad bar and fresh bread, dips and oils. Atmosphere is a little uncomfortable, reception not as warm - but still good and dedicated staff.
