Turned up for lunch at 12:30pm but they only had one option ready and said they weren't starting proper lunch until 2pm. We didn't mind though as the option was sauteed red onion, mushroom and orange pepper which we had in tortas. Sandwiches were fresh and crusty and the filling was yum. Very reasonable at only 40 pesos per torta. Unfortunately though they put waaay too much of some kind of veganaise/chipotle type spread in the sandwich which ruined the flavour and texture a bit. Would have preferred the torta without that. Worth dropping by this place for a casual lunch though.

I loved my enchiladas at this vegan place, and I had a delightful conversation with nearby diners on the patio who had the cutest dog! If I hadn’t experienced Por Siempre Vegana II, I think this would be my favorite restaurant in Mexico City!

Stopped for lunch and ordered the birria plus two tacos- pastor and seta. The tastiest tortilla I’ve had yet, portions are generous and the place has a cool overall vibe. Seating is outdoors, some people have commented about the cars going by, but the seating area is cordened off so somewhat protected, and you can sit closer to the restaurant.

Was looking for a vegan spot for lunch before moseying over to the Chapultepec Castle. Was a walk-in for Veguisima. Plenty of tables available. Almost entirely outdoor seating. Slightly unnerving that the outdoor seating is so close to the cars zipping by. Similar to other reviews, the music seemed unnecessarily loud. Menu included both Spanish and English. Very tiny yet clean bathroom.

- Enchiladas (1 Tofu Mex, 1 Setas, and 1 Beyond Mex) with green sauce: The Beyond Mex piece was quite good but, unfortunately, the others had very little flavor
- Fala Feliz: Ordered this based on the waiter’s recommendation. Was underwhelmed. Seems like a makeshift falafel wrap. Solid but not great. The olives were not to my liking.

Between fair and pretty good I’d say. Great filling options, including marinated eggplant and lentils. Good portions and filling. Tons of outdoor seating. We ordered chilaquiles, enchiladas, and the quesabirria. The salsas are good and needed if you want your food spicy. The macao drink was very good. I just wish the food was a bit more flavorful.

Got in to town late and went here around 9 and was surprised how awesome the food was. There was live music, everyone was having a great time and the staff was really friendly. Probably not for people who want to eat alone in silence but you could always order to go!

Really wanted to love it. The staff was really nice and I was between the Quesabirria and the flautas special and my waiter recommended the Quesabirria. The texture of the eggplant birria was amazing, but the aftertaste from the consome and something else wasn’t good. Lime juice helped hide it, but honestly ruined the dish for me. Kombucha wasn’t great either. Really good salsas tho. All felt overpriced, but that’s La Condessa

Went for brunch and remembered that I have been here before but it was a year ago. The service is really nice and they really hustle around the restaurant working hard. But the food is just okay. I tried most of the taco filling and only cauliflower one was good and the burrito was fair. I feel bad writing this bc I want to support every vegan business but for me the food was just not very good, both times that I went. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing.

We had three dishes while at Veguisima. The Chilli con Carmen Burrito, the Tacos (Lentil, Tofu, Cauliflower and Beyond Mex) and the Enchiladas. The Burrito had a cheese crust which was super tasty and had a good spice level to it. The enchilada was really nice and soo was the Cauliflower and Lentil Tacos. Would go there again without hesitation.

Delicious and spicy vegan Mexican - Edit
All vegan with all outdoor seating underneath a canopy of plants. Really cozy atmosphere and attentive service. We tried the Al pastor burrito and the chilaquiles. Both were excellent and quite spicy! Really great depth of flavor to the sauces and the vegan cheese was so tasty and as close to cotija as I’ve had since going vegan. We went back for breakfast the next day and tried the Mr. Brown and Taro and Berries smoothies, which were so-so. The berry smoothie didn’t taste much of taro and was really icy. The Mr. Brown was too bitter.
