I can see why this place has received nothing but 5 stars. It’s incredible. The menu is huge and everything we ordered was excellent. The fried enoki is probably my new favorite and the vegan curry and sesame soy chicken was incredible. Going to have to try the mushroom option next time.

When considering adding a review for a place, I think critically about the food, the service, and the restaurant itself. I didn't find anything less than excellent about any of those. The food is served fresh, piping hot, and well presented by courteous and efficient servers. The price is not high, while the food is high quality. I especially like this restaurant's mission: to help people learn about delicious foods for compassionate living. #Veganuary

Wonton soup? Heck yeah! - Edit
We tried the Golden shrimp, sesame chicken, and wonton soup. All were excellent. The wontons in the soup tho- divine! Would have liked a different sauce with the shrimp- a soy chili or sweet chili sauce, but they were very good even without a sauce (they come with a creamy sauce).

We enjoyed our meal very much. Fun to have a lit of choices of old favorite Chinese dishes from pre vegan days. Great service and easy parking. I hope they get away from single use plastic cups and straws for dine in customers. Also they are vegetarian and vegan. I only noted 1 item that said dairy (Vietnamese coffee), but there may be others.

All I can say it was the best vegan Chinese food I have ever had. I found veggie village Online., and glad I did. If you are having a long day but want yummy vegan food please try this place. They are on grub hub.

Nice spot in that part of Phoenix / Scottsdale. I got General Tso's, a favorite of mine, with both tofu and mushrooms, a pretty good combo! Some of the rest of the group were less thrilled with standards like dumplings, but overall a good vegan food option.

Despite what their page here on happy cow says, everything is now vegan on their menu! The cream cheese has been replaced with vegan one, same for the mayo and the burger! They have a lot of dishes and everything we tried was delicious : pad thai, dumplings, fried rice, vegan beef with vegetables, burger. The portions were huuge (enough for two meals) and the prices were low. The staff was nice and answered all of our questions with a smile!

It’s always a challenge visiting a new place alone because I have to pick one meal. I went with the sesame chicken after seeing the reviews, it was fine. Maybe I was expecting chewier texture but it was kinda crunchy and thick. The employee had recommended the veggie curry and I wish I had gotten that instead as my meal was just ok. Would come back to try other options, big menu was nice if I had more stomach and cash.

We've been to both the Northern and Scottsdale locations. Staff are always friendly. I enjoy the curry, tom yum, and village fried rice dishes. Portions are not overwhelming.

Read moreI want to start by saying they have an extensive menu, even vegan seafood options! I was nervous to try the vegan fish because I had never had real fish before but my boyfriend ordered it one day and it was actually really good! Everything that I have eaten from here has been amazing you can even choose on some dishes if you want the 'meat' to be soy or mushrooms, my mom gets the mushrooms and I always do soy but both ways are delicious.
They are labeled as Vegetarian but mostly everything is Vegan and the staff is very nice and helpful if you have questions. I personally don't like spicy food and they were helpful answering my questions if a dish was spicy or not.
The lettuce wraps and the sesame soy chicken are my favorites!

Every dish we ordered was phenomenal but the Hakka Tofu was out of this world. The sauce that comes with it should be bottled and sold! Seriously, it's delicious! The passion fruit pineapple drink was also very yummy. We can't wait to go back and try more dishes from the menu!

Not the best, not the worst. All vegan food ranging from tofu to soy shrimp. Second time I’ve eaten here, and it’s good enough to fill you up and be satisfied.
